Water was accidentally spilled near my laptop, and a little bit ran under it. I took the battery out and dried it, and let it dry a few days before turning it on. But now the screen won't come on. The laptop comes on, you can hear the fan running and the disc spindle turning. But the screen stays black. Can someone help me or point me in the direction of what might be wrong? I recently took in a stray rat, and there's been some debate about what sex it is. I know that ordinarily, males have large...goolies... where females (obviously) don't. However, I was holding her, and checking her over for any "irregularities" (tumors, scratches, mites, etc), and I noticed that it appeared (to me) that she had what looks like small testicles. Can someone take a look at this picture, and let me know what you think?

When I was feeding my ratty girls yesterday, I noticed that one of them had a small scratch near her eye. This evening, when I was feeding her, I noticed that it looks like the entire area around the scratch and eye looks like its either scabbed over, or has dried blood on it. She's also seemed very agressive lately, especially in the past week. The other one has no changes, physical or otherwise. I'm just curious to know if anyone might know whats going on with her eye, and if there's an over the counter treatment for it. Thank you in advance.

I'm considering getting a chinchilla. I'm just curious about other people's opinions about them, and would like to have a few questions answered. I've been raising other small rodents for about 10 years, and would like something that's a bit more of a challenge.

1. Do chinchillas tend to get sick alot, and need alot of vet care?

2. Do they need alot of attention?

3. Do they need to have a companion, or are they solitary?

4. Males vs. Females - Which is better?

5. Any other pros/cons?

I would appreciate any information as well, that I didn't touch upon. Thank you in advance for your help. :)

i recently aquired a male albino rat and have owned a female albino rat. I would like to bathe them, but i'm not sure how to go about introducing them to it. Is there a method? i have to be sensitive to them, because one was abused and the other just lost her buddy. :( they both are around a year and a half to two years old.

Okay i tackled the dinosaurs, now i have another question. A friend and i were walking down the street one day, and out of the blue, somebody tried to convert us to christianity...... so that got my brain thinking... and i decided to try an experiment. out of a week, i was asked to join a CHRISTIAN church at least once a day.... do you know how many pagans, muslims, hindus, or other religions tried to convert me? zero. zip. nada. so heres my question for you... why is it that christians are always trying to shove their religion down your throat? im not trying to be offensive, its an honest curiosity. maybe its not like that everywhere, but in my state it seems that way. im pagan/polytheistic and i dont go around telling everyone that my god is the one true god and blah blah blah.... help me out here.

I know that this question has been asked before..... buuuuuuuutttt..... where in the h-e-double hockey sticks did the dinosaurs come from? according to the bible god made them, but if you go by what the scientists say, they evolved from bacteria.... not to mention its said that at no point in time did man and dinosaur co-exist. can anybody help to clear this up for me? im not looking to be converted, its just a curiousity.
