  • Can I sue a company for a representative leaving me a vulgar, threatening and harassing message on my telephon?

I am also mentally disabled and have had suicide attempts in the past, and this is causing me much paranoia.

  • Is attempted burglary of an occupied dwelling a felony in the state of Florida, even if the person didn't get?

A person attempted to enter my home via prying the door at night, I awoke and gave chase. Later the same person burglarized another unoccupied dwelling, got away but was caught later on that day and was charged with grand larceny also. Two questions:1 Is attempted burglary of an occupied dwelling a felony even if they were interrupted before they entered, and :2 If the victim of the second burglary and grand larceny refuses to press charges, can and will the state press charges for the people of the state.

  • Is it legal to sign an agreemant for made between two people, not notorized or witnessed in this aspect.?

A credit card was stolen from me and the only way I could get the person to admit that they stole it was for us both to sign an agreement saying that I would accept some of their property as payment as long as I don't press charges. Now this agreement was only on paper written by us, no court, witnesses, or notary's. My question is it legal for me to press charges anyway and would I be breaking any laws in doing so.

  • Does anyone know the name of this specific kick in Martial Arts?

I know the names of several kicks, front kicks, side kicks, roundhouse kicks, spinning back kicks, (which seems to have variations of side and heel kicks, axe kick. I will try to describe the kick I am referring to. Picture jumping with your left foot, faking a right knee, while simultaneously in the air, bringing your left foot up into a front facial kick from underneath hitting, like the jaw or nose with the ball of your foot. I know it may be hard to picture by my description, but do your best to answer seriously. I am hoping from answers from experienced Martial Artists. And also what Martial arts tend to teach and use these techniques, though it may just be considered kickboxing. Anyway do your best please.

  • Pretty new to this forum and can someone explain to me exactly how to operate thumbs up and thumbs down?

I know it sounds simple, but I have voted and seen the thumbs up get registered. I don't see how to register the thumbs down though. Also I have seen best answers chosen by voters that have less thumbs up than the answer that was chosen by voters.ie answer 1, 3 thumbs up, no thumbs down wasn't a best answer and 2 thumbs up and 1 thumbs down was the best answer by the voters. Then just one more is how does the questioner choose the best answer. Sorry but like I said, I'm new to the forum.

  • What are criminal status hearings and can criminal cases be resolved at one or do they usually lead to another?

This friend is being held no bond on 2, 3rd degree grand larceny probation's for an alleged 3rd degree retail theft arrest. She has an upcoming status hearing. Does this hearing address everything, including her VOP's, possible bail, the new case. Or is it just to see whether the prosecuter is basically ready to proceed. Now another question, Does this person have a chance of not doing time and if not what does it sound like they will get sentenced. I don't want to hear the obvious maximums she's facing. I know them. I want to hear realistic opinion. This in Florida?

  • What are the possibilities in florida for violating 2 separate 3rd degree felony probation with another arrest?

A friend of mine was on probation for two separate Grand larceny convictions that were running concurrent. They were told by their P.O. that they were being violated for a dirty urine test. Unfortunately for my friend, they were arrested the same day for another 3rd degree felony of retail theft. They are being held no bond pending hearing. Now on a best worse case scenario does this appear to be a mandatory sentence if found guilty of all or is there a remote possibility of some harsher probation. I know it doesn't sound good.
