4 AnswersBuying & Selling8 years agoWhen do you let your dog be active after heart worm treatment?
She finished the series of 3 injections 3 weeks ago. Vet's instructions are NO running, jumping, walks, etc. for 6 to 8 weeks after the last injection. Then gradually re - introduce activity.
Seems like vague instructions!
Annie is a border collie that needs her exercise. I understand the rationale to keep her quiet, would like to get her moving as fast and safely as possible.
Please give us your experience with heart worm treatment.
Thanks in advance.

5 AnswersDogs9 years agoNew dog.. rescued and don't know her history, how do we teach her?
She is a border collie. She listens to commands such as stop.. etc. and is very smart.
However.. when she is around other dogs her hackles rise. She has played with the neighbors dog many times. Suddenly she gets aggressive out of the blue. Not sure how to socialize her.
Really cant afford a personal trainer. We are used to our dear departed Basset hound that was gentle with all other dogs.
Any suggestions are welcomed.

Just shelled out $25 @ a pet store, and upon closer inspection.. it's poorly made also!
