In "The Sullivans" TV Show, what was the name of the store?
The store was located at 35 Matlock St.
It was NOT called Willy's Store. This was a real name for the store. I need the name used in the show.
Thanks
1 AnswerDrama1 decade agoWhich US "Mormon" sect practises polyandry (multiple husbands)?
I've a couple of pieces of information that I am trying to piece together, as I am worried that some friends may be inadvertanly getting involved in a cult. I know that these practises are not mainstream LDS, but what are they? These people call themselves "mormon" and I think they are Florida based.
About all I have worked out is:
* One woman has three husbands, whom she has sex with individually and in a group.
* They have to have a child each year.
* No circumcision
* Porn is OK
* some religious thing of wrapping their penises with
some sort of string or rope as some African tribes do
* they have been invited to attend a family cleansing and purifications ceremony as spectators or participants...
What are these people getting themselves into?
7 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhat is a normal blood sugar level for a slight 8yo child?
My boy 27kg and thin, had a blood sugar test today, and it came back at 7.5mmol.
Is this a normal level for a child? I know it is on the high end for an adult, but can't find anything on what is normal for a child.
Is it high enough to have him tested for diabetes?
2 AnswersDiabetes1 decade agoWii won't turn on - red light shows, then turns off. Help!?
My un-modded wii won't start up. Has been left a few days unplugged since initial problem, so has definately discharged.
What happens is set it all up, plug it in, power light is red.
Press ANY button, and it turns off the power light and does nothing.
Is this a fuse problem? Do I have to send it back to nintendo for repair or is there a quicker way?
If it is the fuse - where is it?
Thanks!

2 AnswersPsychology1 decade agoPsych Stats help for APA style Research Report.?
I've got these figures in an APA research report I'm writing. Trouble is, I don't quite get what they're telling me.
The demographic variables consisting of gender, gender ID, sexual preference, and occupation type accounted for a medium effect size of 3.4% (adj. R2) of the variance in health seeking behaviour, F (4,120) = 2.092, p = .086.
Why would it be a non-significant result? My hunch is that there wasn't enough of a cross section across the gender id's, we had heaps of masculine men and feminine women, but only two of 125 were feminine men - we'd hoped to survey a gay community to get more, but didn't have ethical clearance to do so.
So, what do I write, and where do I write it? Does it go in the results or the discussion?
Any/all advice appreciated.
2 AnswersPsychology1 decade agoAPA Format Question - Not Significant Results?
How do you write "not significant" in a results section?
Is it n.s. or ns?
And do you have a APA Manual refefence number.
Thanks!
2 AnswersPsychology1 decade agoAre there any studies linking Gender Identity to Health Seeking Behaviours?
I am doing a class project (3rd year psych) looking at whether gender identity has an influence on health seeking behaviour. An example of what we're looking at (in laymans terms) is - women go to the doctor (health-seek) more than men, but do effeminate men (male sex, GI like female) health-seek like biological women?
I have found very little research linking HSB to GI. Maybe you've run across some?
Thanks
1 AnswerPsychology1 decade agoWhy doesn't my GPS say E/W 000 00.000 on the Prime Meridian Line at Greenwich?
It reads E 000 00.079. But I really don't get why.
Anybody advise? Please reference your answer.
7 AnswersEarth Sciences & Geology1 decade agoWhat wire can I use to make an OCF dipole for amateur radio?
Hi,
Making an off-center fed dipole for 20, 40 & 80m amateur radio (yes, I do have appropriate licensing for Australia). I have the right balun made up, but I am not sure what types of wire I can use. The dipole will be 40m long - I have a nice big yard.
Can it be something simple like gal fencing wire?
