  • How to help an abused German Shepherd?

I adopted a 4 yr old female German Sheperd the other day. She shows no aggression. Doesn't mind my 2 yr old, or the cats. I though she was just shy, but when I brought her home she stays in the corner. She doesn't wag her tail, or look for attention. She just lays there. No aggressive behavior, just sadness. Like ahe doesn't know how to play. She acts like someone just ordered her around because she is very obedient. The owner said the previous owner had her as an army dog. How do I friendly her up?

  • It this acceptable in court?

My husband is going to court with his ex-wife this Monday. He wants my two year old son and I to attend. I just do not think this is appropriate. You do not bring wild toddlers into a court room. At least my son is. What is your opinion?

  • Help for wrongfully accused, may get fired.?

I recently received a letter from the district attorney saying I am a fugitive, and I'm being convicted of theft by check for over 2000.00. I have had checks stolen from me, I made a police report, and identified the thief. Now there is "suddenly" no evidence of anything. This was long enough ago that I have no paperwork anymore. I now am a convicted felon with no trial, and face 20 yrs prison. Plus I have a job where you have to have a sparkling background, so I might be fired. I have no money for an attorney. Any suggestions?

  • Is it bad for your child to dress up for Halloween?

My husband wont allow our son to treak or treat or dress up. He says it is satanic and paganistic. I don't want to "celebrate" halloween, but I don't want my son to miss out on the fun with his peers.

  • How do you know when your marriage has nothing else to salvage?

My husband and I always fight. I try to communicate, but he doesn't let me get a word in edgewise. Sometimes I think I love him, but I just don't think I can live with him anymore. I have to be a perfect wife type. I cook, clean, pay bills, run errands, run after a two year old, and work full time. He works full time too, but just comes home and lays on the couch.

This is not a pity party, I just need some opinions.

I am a healthy 25 year old. I get 6-7 hours of sleep a night, eat well, don't smoke or drink. My bloodsugar levels seem to be fine....I just have uncontrollable needs for sleep. And no it is not narcolepsy.......

  • Does anyone suffer from thoracic outlet syndrome?

My right shoulder and ribcage hurts all the time, I had liver and gall bladder tests done. Plus a chest xray. Everything came out fine. I am starting to wonder if it is a muscular or skeletal problem.

  • Why is it so hard for me to have faith in God?

I have not been raised in a Christian family, infact there was no religion. Now my husband is following new in his walk and wants me to have faith too. I beleive in God, but I can't seem to follow the doctrine of Christianity. I really wish I could feel touched by the "holy Spirit", but I can't. This is tearing us apart because I want to have this in common with my husband, but I have so many questions, and disagree with so many things. How can I start having faith?
