  • Glamorizing psychotic behavior?

The book I am reading is "Interviews with the iceman".

Richard Kublinski was responsible for over 200 murders in America, mostly hits for the mafia but quite a few for the fun of it. This book portrays Richard as some sort of anti hero that was forced to kill.

Is this ethically and moraly correct to glamorize this sort of behaviuor, are we setting ourselves up for psychos who wish to emulate the killing spree of this man.

The man is an outright killer.

  • Neural pathways and madness.? Do you agree.?

We are taught from a young age to think in similar ways as to come to the right conclusion. To solve a simple maths equation we are rote learned to provide an answer. eg times tables etc. This creates a neural pathway in our brains to go to the correct part of the brain and provide the correct answer. We are trained to get the answer as quickly and as easily as possible. Can you train your thinking philosophy to deviate off the neural pathway and enter unused parts of your brain. The truly gifted people who go mad possibly just explore there own brain and become lost not knowing how to get back to the neural superhighway and in effect are lost in their own self.

Sorry this sounds a bit out there as it is hard to put into words.

  • I just don"t get it.??

I will apologise firstly to the religeous people and I respect your decision to follow one religion or another but it is impossible for me to believe in a god or any particular religion when the evidence of a god is insumountable. I think as mankind evolves we will one day be a religious free society, if religeous extremests don"t destroy the earth first in the name of god.

  • My third child is a boy and 21 months old, it is sometimes hard to make eye contact with him and he doesn't an

swer to his name straight away his hearing is fine because he responds to other noises. He loves his sisters and likes to play tag with them but is quite happy to play on his own alot too. He has about 10 words but doesn't use them everyday. He loves us to sing nursery ryhmes and he loves rocks and balls and water. He's a really fussy eater. he doesn't like sitting still and learning about body parts when I try to teach him he just squirms and wants to go and play he likes to watch tv but we have stopped that and now he loves to play outside. When I try to hold his hand to walk somewhere he drops to his knees and refuses to walk. We are a bit worried about his development with some of these issues and wondered what other people thought. After having girls - is it just because he is a boy and busy or should we be worred about his development?
