I'm installing a camera on the windshield that records when powered up so I need a switched power wire near the rear view mirror. I can't find a service manual for this car so I need to know if there is a switched wire in the wiring harness where the top interior lights are and how to remove the plastic to get to it. Thank you!

Ok, I know it's a dumb question, but my car was hit and the license plate is scuffed, bent, and ugly. Im a little (ok a lot) persnickety about my car and while I know they'll fix the bumper and stuff, will they also fix the plate? The car is a 2012 almost new so I want the plate to be like new too!

I've done front disk brakes on my odyssey twice. Now the rear are getting low. Is it harder to do the rear? Does the e-brake pose any complications? Do I need any special tools (other than the what i use for the front)? Thanks!

I'd like to cut open the plastic battery "holder" of my dewalt 18v battery and remove the old dead nicads and install fresh li-ion cells. I'm wondering if the original charger that came with the original nicads will work after this battery modification. Does anyone know if there is a difference between a charger for a ni-cad and and li-ion battery? Thanks.

First time driving across country, I can drive in snow, etc, but is it common for roads to be closed as we cross the Rockies? Is it reasonable to plan for 500 - 600 miles per day? Any other recommendations?

I have a 2004 Mazda 6 with side air bags built into the seats. The car is very clean and nice except the light color cloth seats are really ratty at only 30,000 miles. Would it be worth it to convert the car to leather seats, front and back?

The car fax report recommends that it be checked by a professional to insure there is no flood damage just because of where and when it was registered. How can I check it myself? What do I look for?

If you were given the choice between letting the human race survive in utopian happiness, with love and health and all "good" things for the next 10,000 years and then die out in painless bliss, or allowing it survive for 50,000 years with the current level of war, killing, disease, hate, and other “bad” things, before being slowly frozen to death by nuclear winter, which would you choose? What if it was the same choice but with time periods of just 10 and 50 years?

I'm thinking it would be around 12. What do you think? Are there any laws or Disneyland guidelines?

We are getting a 2 day park hopper pass and I haven't been to Disneyland since before we had kids. Please name all the attractions that you can think of that would appeal to 6 year old boys, (leaving out the things that would appeal to older kids).

I've had this van since about 17,000 miles (90,000 now). I've changed the brakes pads and shoes several times. I changed the rotors once. There is no noise or pulling. No warning lights or computer codes. I'm using mopar brake parts.

Brakes seem fine for normal stops, but when I have to "slam" on the brakes, it seems that it just sort of slows down and eventually stops when it wants to. 2 different mechanics say there is nothing wrong.

I know it has ABS, and I've driven many other cars with ABS. The wheels certainly do not lock up. I do not detect any pulsing during hard stops. This van is just scarry to drive because if this situation.

Any ideas?

From a scientific standpoint, is anything unknowable or is it possible for the human mind to understand anything?

Do you think God was suprised? Disappointed? Didn't he know it was going to happen? Do you think he wanted it to happen so he could have a place to send bad people after they died? Or to scare people into behaving properly?
