Do other religions have "heaven" as part of their after life beliefs? I would think that everyone that has a defined religion, would qualify for heaven in their own belief system, so why do Christians believe they are the only ones going?

It occurred to me the other day that I had not seen or heard anything about Ms Spears in the last several months. Such a relief. Anyone else not missing her?

Older home we just bought has some grout on the bathroom floor that is blotchy, some look yellow. I have tried bleach down on the floor, thinking perhaps it was a mildew issue. But it did not clean up. I tries using Oxyclean paste but again, did not clean it up. Is there a professional grade produce (pick up at Lowe's or Home Depot) that I could pick up??? Not afraid of putting some elbow grease behind it.

I have been looking all over for the baby swings that you wind up and then they run for 15 or 20 mins. All I can find are battery operated ones, who wants to buy batteries every week. And while I am ranting about that, why don't they make adapters for these things? Anybody know what happened?

My worst fears have been realized. Seems court papers have been filed by a european television company to produce a reality tv show about the family. This is a company that has given us such gems as "The Biggest Looser" and couple of others. Well, I know that I won't be watching. I do not find any allure in the reality shows that are currently being tossed off as "entertainment". I have never seen "jon and kate + 8" or "Big Brother"...I just don't get it. Anybody willing to admit that they will get a voyeuristic charge from watching this set of loose marbles?

I am here in Texas, hotter than Hades it is. Every bird that I have seen today..from the barn swallows sitting on the wire, to the grackles milling around in the mall parking lot, they all are there with the beaks open. Not chirping or whatever, just with their beaks open. Do they pant to remove excess body heat like a dog? Honestly never thought of that before.

Asked my husband if he thought that was a true representation of general language of the time. He said in the far western boom towns he felt that it was accurate. Is there any real way to know?

I read that the young woman who gave birth to 8 babies via fertilization may have a reality tv show in the offing. Does anyone see a problem here? I strongly feel this woman is not of sound mind (quoted in an interview saying the reason she wanted more children was so she would never be alone). What are your thoughts on her, the doctors that helped her, the welfare system that is paying the tab for the babies while they were in the hospital and the network willing to put her on the tube.

I made the mistake of reading an article regarding Casey Anthony, the young mother accused of killing her 2 yr old toddler. The state of Florida has stated that they will not seek the death penalty when they bring this case to trial. I am personally disgusted that this woman will not be required to forfeit her life for the one that she took. What do you think?
