We got two kittens a week ago. My husband made the mistake of feeding one of the kittens a bit of his food ONE time. I told him not to since 1) people food isn't good for kittens and 2) I didn't want a cat that begs.

Since then, the kitten will do ANYTHING to get to our food. She will push and shove back trying to get to the food while we are pushing her off our laps. She will nose dive onto us if we drop a crumb. She climbs up our legs at the table to get to our food while we are eating (because we ignore her crying and pawing). She has spent the past two days under my feet in the kitchen, waiting for crumbs to drop. She has stopped playing with toys and with her brother. All she wants to do is get to people food. Putting her in her room with her food does not work. As soon as she is let out, she beelines to the place where the food was and starts sniffing, looking for crumbs. Again, she has not had ANY people food since that first day and her behavior is getting worse! She was wormed about four days ago.

Any suggestions?

I have a "friend" who always seems to know when I am online. I already know that she has software that allows her to see When someone is reading her blog and where they are at the time (like city and state). But she always seems to know the exact time when I am accessing my computer because she will only IM me when I am online never when I leave the internet open but idle. If this is possible, is there anyway to block her?

I am trying to find a light bulb to replace the one in my 97 Mercury Mountaineer's brake light. When I look online, all I find are the entire brake light fixture- are bulbs fairly universal when it comes to cars? Surely I don't have to buy the entire part....

So due to the bad weather in California, there are very few oranges circulating in grocery stores for sale. Because of this, the stores have decided to sell them for a whopping 8.00 a bag. No one buys the oranges (naturally) and they are sitting there molding. Why would you hike up the price on a perishable good like that instead of selling them at regular price and then saying, "sorry, we're out" when they are gone? Aren't they losing money this way?

I know the question sounds awful, but a friend of mine who has no history of cancer is suddenly eaten up with it. Does anyone know of any cases where something was ingested or consumed that caused rapid cancer?

We are in freezing weather and when I rolled it down (automatic), I think it got stuck in one spot and it slid onto its side, so I just pulled it completely out. The glass is still completely in tact. Can I put it back in by myself? How would I go about doing it? If you can provide a how-to, I would be very grateful.

I'm helping plan a bachelorette party in April 07, and was thinking about taking her to a comedy club in Dallas. There are soooo many options online. I'd like to hear from real people in the Dallas area. The only thing I ask is that the club/comedians not be known for too many anti-cop jokes, as the bride is a cop. (If Mike Armstrong were in town during that time, we would have jumped on it :)

I heard this from a former Lebanese citizen who was doing an interview on one of the major news networks (US). The topic was the violent cartoons and media that are shown to people in countries whose people are brought up to hate Western civilization and see them as evil. When asked what we (the West) could do about this, she said that we would have to stop being so politically correct, that political correctness would be the downfall of Western Civilization. I thought it was an interesting topic to think about- any comments?

What are these auto messages repeating the questions we are posting by bots like "Appelle?" Is Yahoo doing this?

This is the strangest thing I have ever seen! I don't really think it is doctor worthy but I can't seem to find anything online. Every once in a while, the tips of my fingernails will bow out in the opposite direction- upwards..then they will go right back to normal. It must happen slowly because I can't feel it and no, I haven't slammed them into anything recently (did jam them about 10 years ago)

I am looking for a good molasses for baking gingerbread items this season.
