My daughter's htc Droid Incredible is using an incredible amount of data. She was almost at her 150MB limit yesterday and did not go online for 24 hours. During that 24 hours the phone racked up another 30MB. Now she's way over. what is this phone doing that it's using data even when she's not online. Are the Apps auto updating. Do Facebook posts and IMs use data EVEN WHEN SHE'S NOT CHECKING THEM on her phone?

Just hoping for some help. Almost seems like a conspiracy to force us to sign up for the $29.99 unlimited plan.

I need to attempt to bond a broken part. It's polyurethane. I have Testors model cement but models are polyethylene. Wouldn't polyurethane cement i.e. Gorilla Glue, work better? Any better suggestions? If so I'd appreciate the input.

I pay my elderly mother's bills online. Never automatic. I go to Chase.com and send in her Gas, Elec, Cable, etc. This month Chase sent every company a double payment. My mom thinks I screwed up but I am convinced that chase did. It was all different dates. Gas paid twice on 5/18. Elec paid twice on 5/20. Cable paid twice on 5/21. Has this happened to anyone else? I would not have accidentally paid every bill twice.

Sometimes I want to send a small pkg via USPS media mail. Everyone knows you can't print postage-paid MM or PP labels using Click-and-Ship. I've just discovered that you can print postage-paid labels via PayPal by importing a comma separated value file. I did a phony test label and it seems it will work to mail my media mail items. Has anyone out there ever done this?

I am sending a book to a digital printing company. They received my PDF but they say all my B&W photos are RGB even though they appear B&W. If they remain this way I'll be charged for a 288 page color book. He said to resend it as grayscale. I have Adobe Acrobat 6.0. Is there a setting to save my PDF as grayscale?

He also said I must embed the fonts. I figured this out by checking the box "Embed Fonts".

I just hooked up a new Comcast HD DVR (Motorola DCX3400). Picture looks great and all HD channels work. But On Demand (channel 1) doesn't work nor do the other features like INFO, etc. Comcast told me to wait 24 hours before getting worried. Is this normal?

I just bought my first large 1080p HDTV. I have Comcast Digital but not HD Service. If I order HD Service for $8.95/ month is that PER TV SET? I also have a small 19" 1080p HDTV in the bedroom also, plus 3 older tube TVs.

AND.....Is the HD service worth it? My research says it is. Thanks.

Has anyone used Wilt Pruf to protect ornamental shrubs? We have a beautiful Tanyosho Pine that we've trained into a sprawling dish-shaped disk. All the neighbors love it. But for several years it's all but died in the Michigan winters. By April, the long 5 inch needles are dead and brown on 95% of the tree. I'm sure it's Winter Burn, a condition caused by wind and cold sapping the needles of moisture. Should I use burlap or Wilt Pruf Spay? Any suggestions?

I've always felt that the system is way bigger than any single man or woman that serves as president. Our 3-part system affects our lives more. The Senate and Congress can overturn anything the president wants. And the supreme court truly affects our lives on an individual scale.

True, the president picks supreme court justices but even those candidates can be rejected.

I believe that the only influence that the individual who is the U.S. president has on our lives is his personality and morale building ability as well as his perceived strength and weaknesses internationally.
