Councel Upright that was purchased about 25 yrs ago from the Ludwig store in South County. Do you know about how much it weighs? When placing a piano in one's home, is it better to be placed perpendicular to the floor joists? I have floor joists which are 24"centers whereas most homes are 18"centers. Is this a concern? Need to buy a replacement 12.0 volt dw9071 drill battery. I checked the internet, only found on battery.com, lowes, and home depot. Lowes and home depot are both about $70 while battery.com is $50. Could I use a credit card to order the battery off of 'battery.com' ?

Brand new ceramic tile and grout were just installed. When the grout dried, it left a whitish challky appearance in many areas causing it to not be uniform in color. The contractor is unwilling to back his work. Any suggestions??? I don't want to put the sealer down until I do something about the color of the grout. Thanks for any help! |:-)

Some contractors have said that the plastic vapor barrier will keep moisture from getting to the 2x4's/drywall but others have said that it will actually create moisture since plastic cannot breathe but concrete does. So what's best: plastic, or no plastic? Thanks and God Bless!
