7 AnswersInsurance & Registration5 years agoI have a 79 mustang and can t find tires. 190 \ 65 HR 390?
It s an indy pace car replica. I know they had a weird size. I never really understood how they measured up with today"s tire sizes. Are these rims 14 inch, 15 inch something in between. Is there anything available now that will fit these OE rims?
5 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs6 years agoDoes anyone know where i can locate new mounts for a 93 buick riviera rear suspension?
These mounts look like common body mounts. A 4 inch steel washer and thick rubber bushing. These mounts are located between the body and the whole rear suspension cradle. One on each side. Wish i knew the proper name for them. Would help in my search.

1 AnswerMaintenance & Repairs7 years agoHow did chevy detune the 75 vette 350?
I read that the 1975 vette's 350 was detuned to only 165 horsepower. What would be the least expensive way to give it 300 horse without anything drastic like nitrous.
5 AnswersChevrolet7 years agoIs microphone cable big enough to carry a good signal of up to 80 watts for 5 feet?
I have extra microphone cable that I would like to use to carry the signal of my 80 watt per channel stereo for about 5 feet to my newly acquired mixer. It looks like I might have a problem with that though. The microphone cable has very small wires that look like they might not be big enough to carry 80 watts and still deliver a quality signal to my mixer. Does anyone know for sure if it will work properly or not? I have no experience with dj equipment obviously so any knowledge will be helpful-Thanks.

6 AnswersFord1 decade agoHow much is this antique pencil worth?
I found this pencil in a house i recently bought. It is one of those oversized pencils.it is 5/8s in diameter and appears to have been 8 and a half inches before being sharpened with what appears to have been a knife. It has light yellow paint on it with green coloring swirled through it.It has an eraser like a normal pencil just bigger with some wear on it.In large black lettering it says,A CENTURY OF PROGRESS.underneath that it says,CHICAGO WORLDS FAIR-1933.Also in large letters but colored silver it says,WHOOPIE X Then in smaller silver lettering it says,AMERICAN PENCIL CO NEW YORK USA FULL LENGTH LEAD.I am assuming that since it is dated 1933 that it is now 75 years old.Does anyone know if this pencil has any value or can you direct me to someone who might know?
3 AnswersDrawing & Illustration1 decade agoHow do i get the smell of cat pee out of the inside of my boots?
I am a garbage man by trade.A couple of months ago i had to pick up rolls of discarded carpet during a very strong storm and the ditches where this carpet was located were filled with water so deep that it ran into the top of my 12 inch tall waterproof boots. When i got home i took them off and noticed that they reeked of cat urine.I set them outside to dry and air out.A week later they were dry but still smelled just as bad.I scrubbed them inside and out with dawn dishwashing detergent,a brush.and hot water and rinsed them good with the garden hose. Then i let them dry and air out for another week. They were a little better but still terrible on the inside.I found some isopryl spray at a shoe store that was supposed to remove foot odor and tried it on the inside of the boots-no good. They are very expensive and i hate to throw them away-any ideas?

2 AnswersDecorating & Remodeling1 decade agoWhat kind of insulation do i need when remodeling?
I am putting ceiling tiles stapled onto 1x4 furring strips and i have r-25 rolled insulation without a vapor barrier that is 8.5 inches thick.I had planned on laying the insulation between the rafters and then across the rafters the other way for a total of 17 inches of insulation which i have been told is more than enough. My concern is that there is about an 8.5 inch gap between the furring strips and i didnt know if that would be enough support for the rolled insulation.I had planned on putting up the insulation and then installing the tiles.Would it be too much weight on the tiles and make them bow over time?Should i have purchased it with a vapor barrier? Is a vapor barrier needed in ceiling insulation?
