I just saw a documentary about the French revolution and how all sorts of crazy things happened such as destructions of the Catholic churches, executions of innocent people, change of calendar, removal of Christianity from the culture, oppression of people in rural areas etc etc.

Does anyone know (maybe you're from France?) what French people in general think of the French revolution? For example, which ideas are still very popular? What's happened?

Here are some symptoms that I have but I am not sure if I have a mental disorder of some sort or ADD. Tried telling the doctor but she is not convinced. This started when I graduated from college away from friends.

1. Lost interest in most music. Unable to focus on any song. Have about 10000 songs on ipod, but keep skipping and cant have patience to fully listen to it.

2. Cant focus on my favorite activity video games. Used to be able to play for hours. Now cant concentrate more than 30 minutes or so.

3. Often find myself touching my face or changing position in chair.

Any ideas?

I have a very peculiar problem with my sleep. This usually happens to me not at night but if I sleep during the day. After I had slept about an hour or longer I find myself in a dream. Sometimes they're pleasant sometimes not. Usually I dont notice anything wrong if its pleasant. When I have a bad dream I suddenly realize "oh its a dream" then I try to wake up or almost trying to use some kind of force or effort from within a dream. And for a second I may awaken, but then somehow I slip back into the dream and it doesn't feel right at all. What the heck is happening?

Hi. I wonder how many pills per day is to be considered an addiction. For example I take at least 10mg oxycodone per day, which is like 1 pill. Sometimes little more. I started taking them for treatmentmof chemotherapy and radiation treatments. If I am coughing a lot I may take 30 mg codeine per day in addition to oxy.

I do sense a need for the pills which manifests in cramping or aching muscles or irritability.

So can someone tell me if what I am taking a "lot" and if so will it be easy to stop?

Hi can someone describe to me the differences in different ethnic groups in china? I know there are the main group who speak mandarin and the other group who speak Cantonese but I know there are others. Fro example I know that most Chinese who belong to communist party are the light skinned ones with more flat face, while the people in the south may have darker skin. That's about all I know. I've also seen a lot of Chinese who are very tall or have really big eyes with folds.

Any clarification will be appreciated

Hi, you know how some people have faces that have a lot of wrinkles or their face. Not the old person wrinkles, but as if its "weathered" wrinkles. Is it because they are skinny, smoke too much, or are exposed to the sun too much? what causes it. For example if you look at Mick Jagger or Keith Richards, you know what I am talking about.

Hello. I hate shaving and also have hair on my back that I would like remove long term. I tried the cream that removes your hair but it doesn't remove or kill the root of the hair. Is there anything that can be bought in the store that can remove unwanted hair. I also would like to use it for facial hair. I hate shaving every day.

I am definately not against interracial relationships, but I do find it questionable when I see soo many couples that consist of a white man and an asian woman. Very rarely the other way around.

Maybe its unwarranted but as a white guy I feel uncomfortable when I see so many such couples outside + you see that combo in the movies a lot.

Please dont give such answers as "they love each other, just leave them alone" No one is prohibiting this. I've known some asian girls who always date white guys, and same with white guys. What gives.

I have been taking vicodin for some time for severe back and joint pains. I take from 5 to 10 mg per day. Sometimes I feel I need more.

Is this quantity enough to get addicted to? Or do real addicts take much more? I know because I read on some sites they take up to 10 tablets.

I have a lonely parakeet who is crazy about my finch pair. Always tries to get into their cage. Is it safe for them to live together?

I have owned syrian and dwarf hamsters as well as mice and rats before. I never had guinea pigs though. Can someone tell me how smart or dumb they are? Are they more like rats who can be very tame? or are they like hamster or a rabbit, just eat and sleep? How smelly are they?

About 6 months ago my parakeet had wings clipped, thats how I bought him. He is tame and not afraid of people. But now his wings have grown and when he wants he is able to fly to another part of the room. Do you think its good to cut his wings or leave them?

Please think about it seriously. I know they're both bad. But which one is more likely to kill you ? 10 donuts in a day or 10 -20 cigarettes in a day?

I am wondering why Chinese people are so loud in many public places in America. Here in San Francisco there are a lot of immigrants from China and they're loud.

Is this the norm for people in China or is it just there are a lot of uneducated immigrants here and they don't know better?

I always cant go to sleep early enough and every morning I wake up with lots of pain in parts of my body. Please give me any help.

I have 2 finches. I put two box houses into the cage for them. But they're too afraid to jump inside them. I also threw a bunch of dry grass on the bottom of the cage. They pick pieces of grass up and jump around it with it in its beak but do not start building anything. Is there a way to make them build a nest?

Hi , does anyone know if there are any food supplements for birds like parakeets? Maybe something like hormones or steroids? I am asking because I was at the pet store and their parakeets are all fat and big. I asked the employee how come the parakeets are so large, he said its due to high fat diet. But I think, is it possible they also give them some kind of hormones/steroids or some super vitamins?

Anyone know anything like that?
