So I need help with this physics problem, I can't quite understand the concept of free falling objects. .

If an object is thrown upwards with an initial velocity of 30 m/s how much does it travel if thrown for 1 sec? 2 sec? 3 sec?

What formula do you use to figure this out and also can someone please explain the concept for me?

bien tengo 2 problemas el primero es que se gasta el antifreeze pero no le encuentro ninguna fuga y cuando esta encendido y estacionado se calienta solo aveses

el segundo es que si lo prendo frio arranca a la primera y ya que esta caliente lo apago y despues de unos 20 o 30 minutos ya no prende a la primera tengo que darle varias veses marcha para que prenda si alguien me puede ayudar se lo agradeseria gracias
