  • How can I get rid of the info on video preview Fujifilm s2980?

I want to use my Fujifilm S2980 as a streaming camera, but the display shows a symbol for the mode in the left-top corner and the hours left and other info in the right-top corner.  Is there a way to turn these off?

  • How to use camera with video mixer?

When I plug my Sony HDR-CX450 camera into my Roland AV Mixer VR-3EX using the HDMI cable that came with my camera, all I get on the monitor input is static - white with two green vertical lines.  I'm not sure if this is a problem with the mixer or the camera.  I've played with the IN/OUT SETUP, and all that changes is instead of static I get a black screen, so I'm assuming this setup is the right one for connectivity.  Does anyone have any ideas of what is wrong (do I need some kind of adapter for my camera, do I need to be in a special mode, etc.)?  I'm really new to this, so it could easily be something really basic.

  • What are creative ways to keep up with messages?

I am overwhelmed with trying to keep up with messages from Facebook, WhatsApp, Emails, Texts, Voicemails, Regular Mail, etc.  I'm in lots of group messages, and people keep sharing useless messages like, "Good morning," and "Have a good day," and videos that made them smile or laugh.  In spite of constantly checking "Unsubscribe" I get regular spam emails, scam phone calls, and ads everywhere.  I have ADD and OCD, and keeping up with life is overwhelming anyway.  I get on average 200 messages from actual friends per day as well as around 5 messages per day dealing with actual business and around 200 spam/ad messages per day, but I only know which message is which by sorting through them.  I'm not sure if there are any good techniques for dealing with all of this, but do any of you have some "out-of-the-box" thinking that would help me stay on top of my messages better?  The more unusual the answer the better.

  • Should I use Zoom or Teams?

I am hosting paid classes online.  The biggest functionality that I use is breakout rooms.  I regularly divide people into breakout rooms to practice and then bring them back and divide them into new rooms with new people to practice while making sure as much as possible to keep an experienced person in each room and non-participants out of rooms.  I need to have control of who is assigned to each room and when they come back from breakout rooms and I need to be able to assign different sizes of rooms for different exercises, (say only 2 per room for one exercise and 5 per room for a different exercise).  I have been using Zoom because I thought it had the best breakout room features, but a tech guy told me in passing that I really should be using Teams.  I've never used Teams.  Does it have the features I need for my breakout rooms?

  • How can I mute a Zoom meeting?

I am a co-host for a Zoom meeting, and the Zoom Host has been losing internet. I can't fix that problem (egos of others), so I would like to allow the participants to watch the feed directly from me when that happens.  I can't mute the host in the original meeting since that would screw up the host's recording later. I'm thinking of doing a YouTube Livestream of the same event that the participants can turn to when the host's feed gets screwed up, but the other participants would need to be able to mute Zoom and it's terrible static so they could hear the YouTube Livestream.  Thoughts?

    Can someone identify these droppings?

I have some kind of pest. I thought it was a mouse and bought the bait and traps, but now I've found what I think is a dropping, (there's more than one), and I think it's WAY to big for a mouse. Can anyone identify it? I really want to know what I'm dealing with here.

  • How can my customers have one login for my website?

I want to create a WordPress website that works for two businesses - scheduling appointments that can be held in person or online, and signing up for events and online training programs. I'm leaning towards Digital Access Pass for the online training programs, and Acuity Scheduling seems to work for the appointments. But I don't want my customers to have to sign into two different systems. I'd prefer them to register just once and be able to use the same system to buy any services from me. Can this be done?

  • How can I disable Watch Party option for Facebook Video?

My group holds a monthly livestream for a private group; however, Facebook keeps prompting members in the group to hold a "Watch Party." This is problematic for two reasons - people get stuck watching the watch party instead of the actual video and their comments go unseen, and people can now share the video live outside of the private group, which is not okay. Is it possible to block a video from doing the "Watch Party" option?

  • What spray deodorant is similar to Lady Mitchum's Powder Fresh Spray Deodorant?

It took me forever to find a deodorant that actually worked for me. I've tried actual prescription deodorant from the Pharmacy as well as many "prescription strength" deodorants. Any deodorants that aren't spray on just don't work for me. Lady Mitchum's Powder Fresh Spray actually kept me dry and made me feel fresh after applying it. I liked the smell and the strength. But they have now discontinued it. I've tried several other sprays, but have yet to find one that works. I'm done even trying non-spray deodorant. What spray deodorants work best for all of you?

  • How can I fix my posture during exercise?

I regularly get feedback from my physical therapists that my posture is not right. I am trying my best to follow their instructions, but I can't seem to consistently figure out the right thing to do. Are there any good videos/books/etc. that I can turn to that will help me figure this out so that I can practice outside of class? The resources I am getting in class are better than nothing, but they just aren't working for me. I need everything dumbed-down even more than what I am getting.

  • Is there a way to recover my lost contacts on my iPhone?

Today I moved my phone over from one iPhone 5 to another iPhone 5. The rep at the Apple Store said I should be fine leaving and that all of my remaining info that hadn't downloaded would eventually update. However, most of my contacts never downloaded. I wanted to reset my phone, but when I logged into iCloud it now says I have never backed my phone up. I know I backed my old phone up multiple times. Why is my previous backup not showing up anymore?

  • Good women's boot for an accountant?

I know nothing about fashion. I am trying to find a boot that looks professional for a woman. I want to ride the bus to work, and occasionally have to walk home when I miss the last bus of the day, (about 5 miles). I could change footwear in my office from the bus ride, but I also occasionally have to walk to meetings across a University campus, and I don't have anywhere I can keep my shoes during the meeting. I am an accountant and need to look professional. Every professional-looking boot I find seems to have a heel, and those aren't great for walking across campus on icy sidewalks. What can I wear that looks professional that are practical for walking across campus in the snow, (preferably that won't break the bank)?

  • Cons - What should we do for those who are poor with a low IQ?

People can't control their IQ. Is it ok to let someone be homeless and starve just because they have a low IQ? What is the right way to help the poor? Which is worse - letting someone who legitimately needs help and legitimately can't take care of themselves go homeless and hungry, or giving money to someone who is being lazy and trying to live off the dole?

  • How can I label my travel bottles so the label doesn't wash off?

I use the wedding bubbles containers that you can buy at Dollar Tree 8 for a dollar for my liquids for travel. I labelled them with a marker, but the labels keep washing/rubbing off. Is there a special kind of marker I can use that won't have this problem? I'm looking for the cheapest solution possible, and the solution has to work for these tiny bottles.

  • Time Zone Conversion Code for Website?

I want to schedule an online event for people around the world. On the event I would like people to be able to see 1) The Date & Time in my Time Zone, 2) The Date & Time in their Time Zone. It would be great if the website could detect their time zone based on the location of their computer and just tell them the time, but short of that I would like to have a place where they can type their location or pick a time zone from a drop down menu if possible. Is there code that can display the date and time for a future event in someone else's time zone?

  • Facebook Event Time Zone Problem?

I'm trying to schedule a Facebook Event for a Private Group that includes roughly 250 people that are physically located all around the world. The problem is that the potential attendees are seeing the time in my local time zone for the event, and it is confusing them. In the description for the event I put the times in other time zones, but most people aren't seeing that. Is there a way I can post an event to Facebook and have it either 1) automatically show the event in the local time zone for every person who is viewing the event based on their physical location, or 2) at least have the event automatically show the date and time WITH THE TIME ZONE CLEARLY SHOWN in the actual post for people who don't understand that they are supposed to click on the event to see the details and who don't look at the comments posted underneath the initial post for the event? I know that part of the problem is user error in that a lot of these people just don't know how to use Facebook, but at the end of the day I believe it's my job to make things as easy and as clear as possible for my attendees so as many as possible will attend at the right time, and making the users learn Facebook just isn't going to work for many of them. The fact that they are even on Facebook is a huge step for some of them.

  • Which areas around Los Angeles, California are too dangerous to live in?

I am a single woman who lives alone. I am looking to get a job at UCLA, but I can't afford to live anywhere too expensive. I'm okay doing an extra long commute if it will help, and I don't care if the place I live in is near the ocean or is really small or if the weather is terrible. What zip codes/areas do I absolutely need to avoid living in for my personal safety?

  • Deposition and Witness - Health Issues?

If someone with health issues who is not a party to a non-criminal case is subpoenaed for hours of deposition or for hours as testifying as a witness, and this person cannot afford a lawyer, is there anything this person can do to protect themselves and ask for the deposition be done in smaller chunks of time? If the person can prove that the reason the deposition is so long is because the lawyer is trying to use it as intimidation because he knows the person he is interviewing has bad health, is there anything they can do for that?

  • Ch 7 Bankruptcy Closed, Adversary Hearing Open - Can Garnishment or Other Collection Measures be Used?

If a person files for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy and files Adversary Proceedings for Student Loans and the Chapter 7 Bankruptcy closes, (with discharge for non-student loan debt), but the Adversary Proceedings are still open can the creditors for the student loans in the Adversary Proceedings legally start sending threats of garnishment or garnish the wages to the person who filed for bankruptcy or do any other collections activities?

  • What can I do to decrease my Body Odor?

Some background: Two years ago a coworker anonymously complained to my boss's boss that I have too much BO. Ever since then I have been obsessive about trying to keep my BO down. I shower/bathe at least twice per day, (sometimes even 4 or 5 times per day). I also changed to a more expensive deodorant. The deodorant says it lasts up to 48 hours, but I reapply it every 12 hours. Occasionally I also use lemon juice before I apply deodorant. I also make sure to shave regularly. I wanted to make sure I was taking care of the problem.

Yesterday, I was told that a coworker had complained once again about my BO. I had washed my pants, shirt, and underwear the night before. The jacket that I wore was brand new. That was literally the first day I had worn it. My clothes all smelled fine to me before I put them on, so I don't think it was the clothes.

I do seem to sweat a lot more than other people, especially if I have to exert myself in anyway. I believe that my coworker is really smelling something, even if I don't seem to notice it myself. Plus, I have been ordered by my boss in the gentlest way possible to take care of the problem. I want to take care of this problem, but I am at my wits end. I already felt like I was pathological in my attention to personal hygiene. What am I missing? What can a person who sweats excessively do to stop smelling bad?
