I've googled it, but I cant come up with anything...

im a freshman and this would be my first tolo. we'rereally great friends and both like eachother, and i dont see him at all during the day, except lunch. so we've been talking less cause he usually eat with his buddies at lunch. since its tolo, ive gotta do the asking, but being how he is, hes probly gonna bring it up in some 'oh so nochalant' way like: "so...u seen the tolo posters yet?" other girls have already started asking (its in 2 weeks) and today he seemed like he was waiting for me to ask him (kinda awkward silence thing)

also my parents arent sure if they'll let me go yet...

so i guess my question isnt so much a "how do i ask him" although that would be helpful...its more of an any imput/ideas for how to work out WHEN and WHERE i do the asking.

*also its hollywood themed so we have to dress up as some hollywood couple...ideas for that would be great*

so i will give more details:

i like him and told him that i did. then it got really awkward for the longest time. (he liked one of my friends at the time) i told her what i had told him and she began flirting w/ him whenever i was around. now he tells me that he doesnt like her anymore and i believe him about 70%. i have also convinced him(i think) that i like someone else. one of his friends, but he isnt jealous cuz he doesnt like me the way i like him. problem is now i am not sure if i REALLY do like his friend or not...

anyway im trying to get back to where we were; as friends. i realize now that his friendship if far more important to me than anything. and i would rather lie to him (about me liking his buddy) and be friends with him than ever face the awkwardness i have experienced over him.

if u have any advice about how 2 get back to where we were or any comments from experience; anything i should have done differently?

and i think he likes me. he stares at me a lot and smiles at me, but sometimes he acts like i dont even exist! hes only 13 so im wondering if it is his age..............or does he not even like me at all?
