what does the term 'player' mean?

"A male who is skilled at manipulating ('playing') others, and especially at seducing women by pretending to care about them, when in reality they are only interested in sex. The term was popularized by hip-hop culture, but was commonly recognized among urban American blacks by the 1970s."

In the relationship sense it means a person who is "playing games." In other words a person, male or female who is dating, not for serious or long term reasons, but rather as a means of fulfilling their own entertainment. A player often sees/sleeps with multiple people, often taking advantage of them emotionally.

player means that he's likes more than 1 person at a time.

player is one who actively seeks out sexual partners and carries on a number of sexual affairs at the same time.

a player is someone who "plays the field." They date a lot of guys or girls (depending on which you are talking about) and think it makes them cool. They "play" with people's heads... "you're the only one for me, blah blah blah" that kind of stuff and then date other girls/guys behind their bf/gf backs.

It describes someone who thinks they are all that and a bag of chips because they date rape as many of the opposite sex as possible.

ohhhhh.....dont go for one if ANY of his buddys have referred 2 him as so..... it means a guy that can get the girls quickly..people who tend to act as so are people who, later in life will be immature
