Why is it that historically and presently that women have such a comfortable life compared to men?
This I want to know...see no matter what it the man who works ard and toils and earns or else his future is at stake! Historically too...in the great epic mahabharatha ..kunti just because of her stupidity and her mistake and fearing wat others will think just gave up her son Karna like as if he was a bad habbit ...who suffered for it...u may say that in her heart she suffered....this is not acceptable at all!! in heart men also suffer..how much of pain and humiliation Karna had to go through his entire life!! just because of a womans mistake!!..how about the time when draupadi said that "blind man's son is blind" and laughed at someone else falling down ..today we are taught we should not laugh but help them...but yet they both got away scott free ..neither was punished for their actions ..in todays world also women have lots of choices ..if they dont make a good career they find a man who has made a good career....if they make a good career many see them as great...but if a man makes an equally good career they dont see that as an achievement...few days back i was pulled into some whatsapp group there too some girl was forcing me to save her number ...if our roles were reversed and I was the one who forced her ..i probably would be reported for harassing ...so why do girls have a life so easy ??? tell me this ..some also ask this that a man work hard and pay for her higher education ...even during their marriage its the girls father wo toils to pay of the huge sum of money
4 AnswersGender & Women's Studies7 years agoHinduism: Asura Tapas: Am I worse than an Asura?
In ancient days asuras or rakshasas used to perform lots of penance in order to please the Gods and hence obtain mystical powers from those Gods. This involved starvation for several days..some used to stand on one leg in extreme climatic conditions for several years and repeat a specific mantra to please God..this obviously requires tremendous amounts of determination..and focus..if they could maintain focus for so many years and please the Gods ..why cant a human being maintain focus for 24 hours also at a stretch we feel sleepy and tiered ..if they can do so much more than a human why humans are considered greater than asuras in shastra?
Thanks for answering :)

I stay in bangalore and week before last i had gone to a Shakthi temple near chord road area. While i was sitting there some people came in with a garland and some flowers. They gave to the priest there. The preist had just finished the puja and opened the curtains. At that time he placed the garland on the deity there and that garland came flying out and fell quiet far away ..as if someone had thrown it there by force! I am wondering what is this force ? also this happens everythime i visit temple..even you can feel ..after the preist does puja and open the temple door and lets you see the deity for first time ..if you stand at that time directly in front of deity you will feel like a chill of som sort run through you body like minor shock..why does this happen ? is it a sort of invisible force? ..people at the temple say its blessings
7 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoPlease could you help me write and excel macro for this problem?
Given 2 excel workbooks. One excel workbook is known as the questionnaire and another workbook is known as the mater findings. The questionnaire has the following colomns:id number, question, response 1(yes),response 2(no).response3(na). If the response 2 is No the the next coloumn contains in it either "issue noted" or "no new issues noted" .The master findings has the following coloumns id number, issue description and remedy for the issue. I want to extract all rows from the questionnaire where the response2 coloumn reads"No" and paste them into a separate excel sheet within the same workbook. These extracted rows will have the id number as well .I want to match the id number with the id number in the master findings workbook and extract those rows for which the id number in the questionaire has issue noted in the final coloumn. That is while extracting rows from the master findings workbook in want only those rows which have the same id num as those rows in the questionnaire workbook which have issue noted in the last colomn. Now you have 2 sets of rows one from the questionnaire workbook and one from the master finidngs workbook ..join these two on the id number ..so that you will have the following id num,response1,2 and 3 the comments coloumn ("issue noted",no new issue noted") and the issue coloumn and remedy coloumn from the master findings workbook . like a single table. I know its difficult but if you can solve this ur a genius and 10 points for you

12 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoHinduism:why would God want you to chant his name ?
Imagine you have a best friend. Will chanting her/his name 16 rounds make u closer to her/him or increase ur love for her/him ? after all treating God as a best friend is itself one kind of Bhakthi ..so in that case would chanting 16 rounds of his name make you any closer to him ?? :P
in fact if one is ur best friend or u love some one very dearly you would never chant their name but keep on remembering them at all times ..is this why Sri Krishna only says to remember Him at all times ..and not endless keep saying Hare Rama Hare Krishna ?

i learned that if one sets a goal one must never ever give up even if the situation gets very very difficult ...tell me what kind of fierce determination one must have to stand on the tip of his toes and focus for over several thousand years..??he was so focused on the goal that he did not even care for food or climate ..if everyone of us could work like this to better society will it not be great ?..it is said in our puranas that his sadhana was so fierce that the Gods had to run to Brahma ..like that have u learned something ?
