  • Juice Williams?

Is anyone watching the Rose Bowl? I hate USC but they are a MUCH better team than Illinois. And Juice Williams is horrific, how the hell did this team beat OSU? Oh yeah OSU is overrated. But anyways...they dont have an offense whatsoever, Williams is one of the worst QB's in the nation. This is only the 3rd game ive seen of his and ive never seen him play even halfway decent. Why do guys as bad as that continue to get starting positions???? I mean it only makes sense that i want my QB to have some kind of passing ability....

  • Why is the word LOSE?

so commonly mispelled as "loose"????? I mean i have seen it at least 4 billion times on here. I know things arent perfect here, i get it, and i realize im not on here with the most intelligent ppl all of the time, but that is one of the most annoying things in the world to me!! If you cant spell the word LOSE right then leave...ok im not that harsh but what is it abt that word that makes it so hard?????

  • Is it possible to fall off that fast? RANDY MOSS?

    http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Aip9u...

This was the exact question i answered last yr, asked by "RedEye". Now i appreciate the best answer tag i got but where are you now? I dont hear much bashing on Randy anymore.

Thats all i heard for the entire stint of his Raiders experience, everyone talked abt how Randy Moss was done and couldnt play anymore and this and that....

Anyone want to take back the bad things they had to say abt Randy Moss, the football player not the person??!

  • How come Darren McFadden isnt.....???

being hyped up like all these other players of the past? I mean in reality he is 1000x better than Reggie Bush ever thought abt being and everyone said "passing up on Bush is like passing up on MJ" (btw good call on that one...........he's mediocre at best). McFadden is an impact player, immediately. Its just like Adrian Peterson, he wasnt hyped like Bush and look what he did. It just seems odd that in a world where athletes are exploited and hyped from the time they are like 12 that 2 of the best RB's to come out havent gotten hardly any hype or publicity. I mean i know he's not at "USC" and not overrated like anyone out of the Pac10 or Big10, but he has put up amazing numbers in the toughest conference (especially for defenses) and yet nothing. What gives? Do you have to be on the west and play crap teams all your career to get the hype? Jw....

  • Tom Brady vs. Peyton Manning?

Im going to end the debate right now, its hands down Tom Brady. Everyone talks abt Mannings stats and what not well he has played 3 more full seasons than Brady, compare their first 7 yrs as a starter:

    Peyton Manning: 29442 yds, 216 TD's, 120 INT's, 63.5%, sacked 139 times, 0 SB's

    Tom Brady: 26370 yds, 197 TD's, 86 INT's, 63%, sacked 203 times, 3 SB's in 6 yrs (possibly 4 in 7)

Brady has put up virtually the same numbers, a few less TD and alot less INT's, abt the same percentage, his offensive line hasnt been as good as Mannings. Oh and remember Manning has had GREAT players surrounding him his entire career. While Brady has done it w/ nothing....

Manning has had: Harrison, Wayne, Faulk, Edgerrin, Addai, Ken Dilger, Jerome Pathon, Marcus Pollard, Dallas Clark

Brady has had (w/ the exception of this season): Antowain Smith, Kevin Faulk, Troy Brown, David Patten, Reche Caldwell, Deion Branch (for 2 yrs), an old Corey Dillon...

Tom Brady HANDS DOWN is better. U?

  • Tennessee Titans???

I hate this team, mainly b/c im from abt 45 min. out of Nash and everyone thinks we have to root for them b/c they are here, even though they havent been here that long but i also cant stand them b/c of Vince Young. But i gotta give respect to their team.

Look at this defense: 8th in ppg allowed, 5th in total ypg, 5th in rush ypg, 10th in passing ypg, T-2nd in INT's, 3rd in pass deflections, and 7th in sacks.

Thats pretty sick, very good defense and you can contribute most of their success to them.

Look at their running game, Lendale White and Chris Brown have ran all over defenses this season they are 5th in rush ypg, 1st in apg, T-5th in rush TD's, and 7th in 1st downs rushing.

Then look at Young: 27th in passing ypg, 32nd (last) in TD's thrown, 8th most INT's, 21st in 1st downs passing, and the worst TD to INT ratio in the game (-8). The only team w/o at least 10 passing TD's.

How good could they be w/ a DECENT QB? B/c he is awful...

  • Javon Walker?

Once again the guy is basically demanding a trade, saying today that "its not like they dont want me here, its just that i dont think its the best fit for me". He basically stopped short of a trade demand in Green Bay just 2 yrs ago, and then now he is doing the same thing in Denver. What is with this guy? Why cant he fit in anywhere? If he isnt happy with Brett Favre or Jay Cutler, who the hell does he want to play for? I dont get it.......i wouldnt take him, i wouldnt trust that he would be around or wouldnt start going off in a couple of yrs....

  • From one undefeated season to another, 72 to 07?

The changes in the game from 1972 to 2007.

*In 07 teams avg 228.3 passing ypg (in 72 just 152.1 ypg).

*In 72 teams avg. 139.3 rushing ypg (in 07 just 110.3 ypg).

    *In 07 11 teams had 26 or more passing TD's (in 72 just 1).

*In 07 every team threw over 400 times (in 72 just 2 teams threw over 400 times).

*In 07 1 in every 31.9 pass attempts resulted in an interception (in 72 1 in every 18.7 pass attempts resulted in an int).

*In 07 the Saints completed more passes than 25 teams even attempted 72.

*In 72 the Rams, Oiler, Bengals, Eagles, and Packers threw for 50 TD's (in 07 the Pats and Tom Brady threw for 50 TD's).

*In 72 the most pts scored by any team was 385 (in 07 10 teams scored over 385 pts).

*In 07 there were a combined 66.97 miles in passing yds (in 72 there were a combined 31.45 mls in passing yds).

*In 72 10 teams had more rush TD's than pass TD's (in 07 just 3 teams had more rush TD's than pass TD's).

The game is certainly changing, any opinions???

  • Tom Brady's 50 TD's?

When Peyton Manning broke Marino's record and threw for 49 everyone and i mean EVERYONE acted like this was the craziest thing of all time and that it would never happen again. When Brady does it no one seems to care, everyone just acts as if its normal or doesnt matter. Manning, who seems to be the "God" of the NFL for whatever reason, gets deemed as one of the greatest b/c of this feat and then Brady breaks Manning's record (once again proving he is better) and everyone goes "yay" and then just turns the other cheek. What gives?

  • Top 5 PG's in the league?

1.) Chris Paul - most underrated player in the game

2.) Tony Parker - underrated also, CHAMPIONSHIPS

3.) Chauncey Billups - again he has a ring

4.) Steve Nash - stat filler but thats abt it

5.) Deron Williams - one of the best all around

I know many would have Nash up there but he has had one of the most talented teams in the land for awhile and has produced nothing out of it except for his own personal stats. Chris Paul has yet to get earn anything yet but as far as leading his team he is the best. He doesnt have alot of talent around him yet his team is 20-10 and competing with alot of the great ones. He is just amazing to watch and his skills are ridiculous. Parker has the stats and the rings to back himself up as well as Chauncey, and Deron is on his way to the top also esp. with more success in the playoffs....anyone?

  • To those _____ calling out the Patriots?

The game def. isnt over yet, but the Pats just took the lead, what was really sad is that after the Brady/Moss combo didnt get them on one play, the very next play was the EXACT same thing and it worked. Pathetic on the Giants part.

Brady and Moss both broke the TD record on that one, 2 pt conversion is good btw. A FG just ties it.

Watch for Brady and Moss to settle down even more, Brady finally has the record and so does Moss so that is now behind them, they have a game to win, and WILL win it.

  • UCF's Kevin Smith?

The guy led the nation in rushing this season with 2448 yards and also had 29 TD's (5.9 ypc) in just 13 games. His avg game was 32 carries for 188 yds and at least 2 TD's. But against Mississippi St. he carried the ball 35 times for just 119 yds (only 3.4 ypc) and 0 TD's w/ a lost fumble. Smith has had 2 or more TD's in 11 of his 14 games and at least 1 TD in 12 of 14 games. He ran for over 100 yds in 13 of 14 and carried the ball over 20 times in all but 1 game. The only game worse this season than this one was against USF. Is Kevin Smith for real or is he a product of a VERY weak schedule playing against bad defenses? B/c against teams w/ pretty tough defenses he didnt manage a single TD and wasnt nearly successful running.

  • NFL Rookies?

Outside of Adrian Peterson, who has been the best rookie offensively? Who has been the most surprising? The biggest disappointment?

Best rookie offensively: Dwayne Bowe (WR/Chiefs) - 69 rec, 982 yds, 5 TD, its impressive b/c of the passing game he plays in, there is none.

Most surprising: Selvin Young (RB/Broncos) - 108 rush, 603 yds (5.6 ypc), 1 TD, it shouldnt be so surprising since it is w/ the Broncos but i dont think anyone expected him to do so well.

Most disappointing: Craig Davis (WR/Chargers) or Dwyane Jarrett (WR/Panthers) - Davis has just 17 rec. for 149 yds with 1 TD and was a late 1st rounder. Jarrett has just 6 catches for 73 yds for a early 2nd rounder. Pathetic. Ted Ginn Jr. has to be up there to somewhere.

The overall best rookie out there: Patrick Willis. Surprised? 162 tackles, 3 sacks, 2 FF...the most tackles by a rookie in over 20 yrs. I think his career will be longer and better than AP's. RB's dont last long in the NFL. We'll see

  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers Offense???

When will this franchise and management ever learn or begin to make some changes? Just 1 time in the history of the Tampa Bay Bucs (32 seasons counting this yr) have they finished the season top 10 in offensive scoring (6th in 2000) and they have NEVER finished the season in the top 9 in offensive yards (10th in 1984). That is pathetic, just atrocious. Their 2nd highest ranking for offense in a given yr was 14th in 1984. Have they ever looked at this?

On the flipside, their defense in the last 11 seasons has been consistently the best in the NFL. Twice they have finished first if defensive pts allowed (2002, 2005) and they have finished in the top 10 in defensive pts allowed (and defensive yds allowed) in 11 of those seasons (the only time they didnt was last yr). Thats just unbelievable! How can they be SOOOOO bad on one side yet SOOOOO good on the other?????

  • Most Overrated?

In the NFL. This can be abt anything, a particular defense, offense, team, or player:

1.) Reggie Bush: This guy is a joke. He was a 2nd overall pick making MILLIONS and he will never be a feature back. In just 12 games Adrian Peterson has rushed for more yards than Bush for his career (abt 30 games). Thats sad. Bush averages like 3.5 ypc, his speed is nothing in the NFL and as Sheldon Brown from the Eagles said, "hitting Bush is like running through a cardboard box".

2.) Steelers defense: They get shredded by good teams, yet they talk abt their "great" defense, its a phantom D, its highly overrated.

3.) Vince Young and the Titans: Young is brutal, the only reason the Titans are as good as they are is b/c of their solid defense. W/ a good QB this team would have 3-4 more W's. Young has 16 INT's to just 9 TD's and one of the worst QB ratings.
