The furnace pilot lights just fine. It will burn for hours. When I turn the thermostat on, the solenoid clicks and the pilot goes out immediately (before the burner ignites). I believe the thermocouple is good, or the pilot wouldn't stay lit. Any ideas?

I am currently working light duty because of a work related injury. If I miss work for a Worker's Comp Doctors appointment, my company charges the time against my Personal and Vacation days until they are all gone. I have requested that my appointments be scheduled on my day off. I was notified by the W/C Insurance Company scheduled me an appointment for an MRI during one of my work days. I asked my W/C rep if the appointment could be rescheduled to my day off. She said that the Doctor only does MRI's on specific days of the week and it was not possible. So, I called the doctor's office and asked if it would be possible to reschedule. They said they had an availability two weeks later on my day off. I DID NOT reschedule. I emailed my W/C rep to inform her about the availability. She decided that she really wanted me at the appointment sooner than later and offered to pay my wages for that day. She emailed my HR department to inform them that she would be paying for my lost time and asked them to not charge me any personal time for the lost time at work. I then got an email from my HR rep that stated that I was not allowed to contact any of my doctor's offices to make such inquires in the future. I'm in the State of Tennessee. Can my employer really restrict me from contact the doctors like this? Do I have to right to request appointments that work with my schedule?

I created a .wmv file with Windows Live Movie Maker and tried to add that .wmv file into a different project. It displays the frame with an exclamation mark in the middle. When I click on it, it says:

"Do you want to remove "Intro.wmv" from the project?

The file might be corrupted or in a format that Movie Maker doesn't recognize.

This movie can't be saved or published until Intro.wmv is removed from the project.

I've tried saving it with various settings display sizes, yet it always says the same thing when I try to add it to a different project. I can add .mp4 files from my phone just fine. I thought it might be a Codec problem, but how can that be, if I'm using the EXACT SAME program that I just saved it with?

I planted green beans (pole beans) early. They produced well. I have let several pods dry on the vine and was wondering if I could replant those seeds, this season and harvest another crop. I know there are some seeds that need to experience cold before they will germinate. Not sure about pole beans. Will they grow in the same season they were picked?

My wife wanted me to make a 16 lb. turkey for Christmas. I put it in the fridge to soak in a brine of 1 c. salt, 1/2 c. brown sugar, 2 bullion cubes, and a cup of apple juice at 8:30 pm on Wednesday. I was going to let it soak for 12+ hours before cooking it on Thursday. I just found out that we're not supposed to eat the turkey until Friday. Which means, I'll have to leave it in the brine to soak at least 36 hours. Most recipes say that 24 is the max. If I let it soak for 36 hours, will it ruin the meet or make it unhealthy? It is the fridge.

I was pulled over for DUI in April of 2009. I was refused a breath-a-lizer and told that I could only have a blood test. I knew I was not intoxicated, so I consented. After the test, the officer told me that it would take 6 to 9 weeks to get the results, but until then, I would be considered guilty because of "reasonable suspicion". I was put in jail and didn't get out until about 2 PM the next day. As a result, I missed a VERY important meeting at work and was terminated, they seized my car, and I had to back out of the sale of my house (was selling to relocate for job). As it turns out, I was only a .04 (.08 is the legal limit in the State of Tennessee), so I was not intoxicated.

They have finally (8 months later) released my car, but on the order it says that if I claim it, I agree to release the state of all claims for injury or damages. I'm considering suing the state for wrongful arrest because it's virtually ruined my life. I am afraid that if I claim my car, I won't be able to sue. I have less than 30 days to get my car, or I lose it. I've talked to a few lawyers, but all that I've spoken to say they don't handle this type of case and they don't know anyone who does. What should I do?

I heard the governement has added Credit Card Debt Relief to the Stimulus Package. But everytime I try and look it up, my search engine is cluttered with ads from organizations who want to "manage" and file for me for a fee. Where can I find information just for ME, the consumer, not from a third party? Someone please help me. Thanks in advance!

I just installed Windows Vista Home Prem. The install software comes bundled with AOL 9.0 Free Trial. I HATE AOL. I opened control panel to remove it, but there is no uninstall listed. I started to just delete the AOL icon, and it warns me that this WILL NOT uninstall the program. I clicked the icon, thinking it might give me the option to uninstall (deer in the headlights). But it only created yet another icon and wants me to setup an account. Please someone give me some instruction on how to completely remove this software from my computer. Thanks!!

I'm installing a flag pole today. I had always heard that it must be illuminated if I want to display it at night. My dad just told me that they changed this etiquette a few years ago, and you no longer need illumination. Can someone find a web link that confirms this?

I just bought this remote, there are no codes for Motorola cable boxes in the manual. This unit does not turn ON/OFF, it stays ON all the time. I tried using the search feature, but since it doesn't turn OFF, I don't know when it's programed right. Please help me.

I can find a plenty of websites to clean a bolt action rifle, but the one I bought is a Winchester .30/30 with side load. I'm not sure how to clean it and I'm having trouble finding a website with detailed steps on how to do it. I'll give the points to the first person who posts a website that shows me how I can clean the inside bore of my rifle with side loading bullets (not bolt action). Thanks in advance.

About a 2 years ago, my sister saw an episode of Judge Judy that had a woman suing her son for some credit card debt. Her voice was familiar and my sister thought she might be my brother's ex-wife, who asked him to give up my nephew for adoption when he was 1.5 years old. she swore that no one in our family would ever see him again. We've not seen him since. We did some research (long story) and found him. The other day, I happened to search facebook for him. As it turns out, it IS him. He has a poor relationship with his mom and she is dying of ALS, and he has no relatives in his life, he is 30 now. He and I have been chatting on facebook for a few days. His Dad freaked out when he found out about the Judge Judy thing. My brother claims that he's not his real son. But there is no question in my mind, he looks unbelievably like us. He has no one related to him in his life. He says he's okay with it and doesn't want to make waves in our family. I'm wondering if I should contact a talk show host to invite him and my brother to a show for a DNA test and possibly reunite him with our family. Who should I contact? He seems to appreciate meeting me (and my sister), my brother doesn't know about the recent developments. Should I pursue this? Who should I contact (Maury, Oprah, Ellen, etc)? Honestly, I think this might cause problems in my family. There's a lot more details, but I have limited stuff I can type here. This is for real and very serious, forget the points and post what you really think. I need some advice.

We caught a small lizard the other day, I looked it up, it's a Western Skink. It's beautiful! It's body is is primarily brown with gold stripes, then it's tail turns BRILLIANTLY BLUE! It's the kind of lizard that looses it's tail if you grab it. Anyway, we made a little cage and have feed it some crickets. The kids love it and find it very interesting. Is it legal for us to keep as a pet? How can I find out for sure?
