So, I know this is pretty much the opposite of what every teenager says, but I'm 16 and my parents treat me like an adult. I think it has something to do with the fact that I'm in college, and they forget I'm only 16. But they expect me to buy clothing with my own money and they take my brother on weekly shopping trips. I haven't bought any new clothes since I was 14. My brother is the baby, he sleeps with them at night and they make his lunch in the morning (which wouldn't be so bad if he wasn't 14..) and I have to beg for them to even buy me snacks for lunch. Am I crazy, or should I do something?

I've entered my measurements into at least seven 'bra size calculators' and have received two sizes; 32A and 28DD. I know the first one is bogus, because if I try to fit into a 32A I won't be able to breathe. I currently wear 32B or 34B and have decided to check my size because my nipples like to pop out of my bra and the cups are just too small. The last time I got fitted at Victoria's Secret, she told me I was a 30C and handed me a 32B because they didn't carry my "correct size." What should I do?

My scars are dark, as in darker than my skin. I know other people who have scars but theirs are all white and raised. Is it a skin tone thing? Does it depend on how deep the person cut?

This isn't a rant, it isn't even for real life purposes. I'm single. I'm just genuinely curious on what your thoughts on this topic are.

If a teenager is a perfect, honest kid whose parents have no reason not to trust them, then why?

Is there any other reason besides the fact that the parents just don't trust them?

I'm at an 8. I tried going to a 6 about seven days ago. It wasn't working, so I just took it out and went on--it had been a month but I figured my ears needed a little time. Today, I heard that upsizing in the shower works because of the steam and lubrication, but my tapers just weren't going in. What's the deal, and how can I fix it?

I'm going to change my name sometime in my life because my birth name does not fit me at all. Personally, I think parents shouldn't give their children permanent names, but that's besides the point.

So, here's the story

Started self harming in 2013, just sawed kiddie scissors on my wrist. No blood.

Started cutting around August of 2013

Told my mum in November-December

Started therapy

Went to 5 sessions, on my 5th session my mum sat in

She didn't like what the therapist was saying and yanked me out

Heard her on the phone "She's a lot better, hanging out with friends all the time and is hardly ever in her room anymore!" (untrue) "No, she isn't here right now, she's out" (also untrue)

I stopped for about 4 months, relapsed recently

Anyway, I first wanna know how to hide them. It's summer and I live in Arizona. I cut on my hips and wrists. I'm trying to just do hips but I LOVE cutting my wrists. I wear this one bracelet thing that doesn't cause too much sweat but i basically filled up the area it covers already.

Second, what to do to get help. I refuse to tell my mum again because I'm sick of her bullshit and pretending like things don't exist (like my panic disorder) ("Its just a phase, honey, they'll go away")

Sooo any general advice?

Also, I don't have real, close friends except for one girl and I also have a huge crush on her but she has a girlfriend...

Some examples:

Although I typically wear high cut shirts (like band tees), today I decided to wear something a little more low-cut. I was told to "put away my chest" and called a hooker. Keep in mind I go to a high school where it's common for the cheerleader-type girls to wear belly shirts.

Every time I tell someone I don't want kids they roll their eyes at me and either say it's a phase or try to convince me to want to have them

Adults tell me I should care how my peers view me

The last time someone found out my religion they called me a Satan worshiper and told me I'm going to hell (I'm agnostic)

Every time my sexuality comes up I'm told it isn't an actual sexuality, I'm just confused and going through a phase (I am bisexual)

I admit part of the reason I ask this is to rant about it.. but I am also genuinely curious. Does anyone else wonder this? And as for those who do it, why? It isn't your life, but you seem to attempt to involve yourself in it regardless..

Okay so there's this guy, and we like each other. We've kissed and made out and such and we usually text like every day. We aren't dating. But here's something I realized--he never is the first one to text. Usually I text him at about 11 or 12, around lunchtime. He's really a sweet guy, and I know he isn't using me as someone to just makeout with. Is this normal guy behavior? What's the deal?

I am 14 and want to see a therapist. I used to see one, but after spending a session in the room with me my mother took me out of therapy. I overheard her speaking to my therapist and saying that I was doing much better and going out with friends--which is untrue. I also heard her say that I wasn't home when my therapist asked to talk to me.

I have depression and panic disorder, as well as a history with self harm. I do not take pills for either my depression or panic disorder because my mother does not believe that I have either. She says it's a phase.

I have family issues. I dislike every member of my family, mainly my mother. My mother has issues with how I look. She refuses to let me dye my hair blonde or stretch my ears because she says it will make me look like a slut and make people judge her. I'm over caring about how others see me but she says that I should. After my eighteenth birthday I don't plan on ever talking to one of my family members again.

Sorry for the unnecessary rant.

Is there any way I can see a therapist without my parents finding out?

So, there's this guy, and we've been friends with benefits. We both started getting feelings for each other. We're not dating yet but we will be soon. He just wants to take it slow. Big complicated story, I'm not gonna bug you with it. He said that on our first date we should give each other gifts because he has a brilliant idea for one and my birthday isn't for awhile.

Okay so I've always loved these types of skirts and I CANT FIND THEM ANYWHERE. The only dresses I ever find are short enough to show my butt and if they're long they're tight enough to show it. I want a dress that I actually like!! Does anyone know what they're called or where to get them?

So I'm 13, had my period since about October.... It's not regular yet and I'm not sexully active. My mom said something like 'I better make an appointment 4 u at the gynocologist' and duh, I freaked. Some people say you shouldn't go until your 16, a yr after your period, or until you're active. And it's not like there's anything wrong either. So why should I have to go now? I don't see any good reason..

K so my brother is so annoying and mean. He'll hit me if we're alone and make fun of me and swears, butwhen my parents are their he lies his butt off and acts like an angel. Sometimes he'll pester me in front of them. A few secs ago he said I was disgusting and blew out all over my face when he said it, like puckered his lips and blew out the word. The second time he tried to do it I wasn't looking, and what do you do when someone's coming at your face with their lips puckered? You push them away. So I tried to do that and ended up pushing his face. Big faker he is, he crawled onto the ground and rolled into a ball like I'd smacked him. So this stuff always happens and I always look like the bad guy. Ps, he doesn't brush his teeth, so when he blew on me... Ew. K well I doent know how to tell him to quit it...BT dubbs he's ten and I'm thirteen.

My friends parents are giving them debit cards for food and souvenirs. But my mom says no, i just get cash. Well the amount she's giving me is laughable, and i'll easily blow through it when im halfway done with the trip! And even if i can get her to raise the $$$, what if i run out??? HELP.

I'm deciding on either a pomeranian or a corgi. I'll be living in an apartment, I'm also getting a chihuahua...so yea. No children, but i might--MIGHT have a baby someday. Probably about 5 years after i get the dog. Any more info you need? I would walk him/her for about 30 min. every other day, the park every day.

OK so i want to be a vet but recently i got interested in a doggie day care service. I really wanna get my degree and be able to start a doggie day care fresh out of HS. I know vet-ting takes 8 yrs & i dont wanna start a doggie day care at 26. I figure i can start it about a year after i start planning and saving, and once i get a degree i can add an attachment building to the day care.

So the real question is, can i go to school at night and create my doggie day care in daytime? Can i get my degree without living on campus and taking day classees? Thank you.

OK so i have this pretty good friend and she's emo, which i don't mind. She cuts herself (Dont worry, her parents are aware and are dealing with it, counnciling and stuff, the ush. She has episodes and is pretty emotional, hence the emo part.

Anyway, I'm always afraid i'm going to offend her. I once said, "Wow you're so tall, either you grew or i shrank!" After coming back from winter break.

(I forgot to mention she has a boot on her leg because the entire thing is like not broken, but the muscles i guess?? She's had a boot on and off for like 2 yrs, i think.)

And she said "THATS BECAUSE IM WEARING A ***** BOOT!" The boot wasn't on before winter break.

She's kinda tomboy-like, uhm, i really dont know how to describe her but i know shes really sweet inside, she just has a harsh past.
