senlin
It is morning, Senlin says, and in the morning When the light drips through the shutters like the dew, I arise, I face the sunrise, And do the things my fathers learned to do. Stars in the purple dusk above the rooftops Pale in a saffron mist and seem to die, And I myself on a swiftly tilting planet Stand before a glass and tie my tie. - Conrad Aiken
Is using a lot of punctuation a bad thing?
When I answer questions, I'm always getting that little pop up that says, "Hmm, looks like you're using a lot of punctuation." Why does Yahoo care?
6 AnswersWords & Wordplay1 decade agoWhat drives people's negative views of psychology / psychologists?
I notice that with some regularity, answerers will describe psychology and psychologists in very negative terms. I recently answered a question where another person described psychology as "science fiction." I've seen psychologists described as charlatans and frauds. Where do these negative beliefs and attitudes come from?
10 AnswersPsychology1 decade agoWhat are people expecting when they ask for a dream to be interpreted?
It's so popular that they made a whole section for dream interpretation. Why do you think people are so interested in what somebody else thinks of their dream? What kind of answers are they hoping to get?

11 AnswersYahoo Answers1 decade agoHas Yahoo Answers really changed over time?
I was reading some questions asked nine and ten months ago. Some of them had 30 or 40 ratings of thumbs up or down. Most I see now don't seem to have many, if any. I've only been around for a month. Did I really miss something?
5 AnswersYahoo Answers1 decade agoWhat should I look for in purchasing a new TV?
I'm about to replace my 15 year old Sony. I am completely out of it when it comes to current TV technology. I watch a less than 10 hour a week of actual television, but do watch a lot of DVDs. My old TV is huge, I'd like something that doesn't totally take over the room. Any suggestions would be welcome.

4 AnswersDecorating & Remodeling1 decade agoDo strangers comment on your physical attributes?
I'm really tall and hardly a day goes that someone who is a complete stranger doesn't comment on my height. It doesn't really bother me at this point, but I'm curious why complete strangers feel they can cross that social barrier and say something about a physical attribute. Do you have this or a similar experience?
6 AnswersPsychology1 decade agoCan anyone recommend treatment for chronic sinusitis?
Steroidal sprays provide some relief, but I'm not thrilled about using them long-term. Any natural alternatives that people have personally found to be helpful? Thanks.
