11 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoBrothers and sisters in Christ. Do you ever feel like this?
Jesus said that we would be persecuted in His name if we shared the gospel with the world. When you see all the disrespect for God and believers on YA, do you ever think of the words of Christ when He sent out the disciples to spread the news of the kingdom?
"If anyone will not welcome you or listen to your words, shake the dust off your feet when you leave that home or town." Matt 10:14
Or are you determined to witness regardless?

2 AnswersOther - Computers1 decade agoChristians... Do you think Satan believed he had won a great victory when he saw Christ on the cross?
Satan knew the words of the Old Testament as evidenced by his temptation of Christ. Should he not have understood that Christ was sent to redeem mankind or did he believe he had won a great victory by Jesus' death?
25 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoRoof Rafters or Trusses?
I'm building an sun room addition onto my home. I planned on using 2"x8" rafters with diagonal bracing attached to a triple 2"x10" beam running out to the gable wall. 2"x6" ceiling joists will run out to each side wall from the beam.
Is this sufficient or should I go with roof trusses?
5 AnswersDo It Yourself (DIY)1 decade agoDoes anyone see fear as the "driving" influence in the world today?
I see people trying to cope with the emotion of fear everyday.
We fear change, so we fight against ideas that would destabilize our long held beliefs.
We fear each other, so we distance ourselves in public and avoid communication.
We fear other nations and their beliefs which lead to wars.
We're afraid of the unknown of death, but afraid to "really live our lives to the fullest".
Do you find this to be true or do you find another emotion to be of more influence? If so, what?
13 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoIs it wrong for me to forgive them that just killed my cousin?
I just got a phone call that my cousin was killed in Mosul, Iraq. He was with the US Army and his job was to disarm roadside bombs. This time things didn't go so well.
He has 4 children including a daughter that was just born. He is a Christian and I believe he would forgive them that killed him. I am a Christian and I forgive them too. Is that wrong? (This is no joke)
14 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoMany people call themselves "open minded"?
Many people believe in spirits, aliens, even the devil. Many people believe in a "Higher Power" but are not open minded concerning Christ as the second "person" in the Trinity. Have you seriously considered this?
This is not a slam to non-Christians but a serious question. Please respond kindly.
16 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoMatt. 27:52 "The tombs broke open and the bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life"
This happened after the crucifixion of Jesus. Do you think these people were raised to everlasting life at this time or did they die again and are now awaiting Jesus' return for their everlasting bodies.
I have my own opinion but would appreciate yours.
