  • Help! Why does it hurt so much to pee and how can I stop it?

Ok, so, about an hour ago I had this really big urge to pee, I go to the bathroom, pee very little and it hurt like hell. 15 minutes later it was the same thing. 30 minutes later it hurts A LOT to pee, I barely pee anything and there's freaking blood in my urine! Needless to say I'm freaking out, but I'm rational and realize it's probably a urinary tract infection. Which I understand is treated by antibiotics from my doctor. Problem is that I am leaving the country in exactly 12 hours and will be gone for a whole month on vacation! Therefore, I have no chance to see my doctor! Help! I am freaking out right now and I'm already stressed out enough about the trip. I know it's a stupid question but would I be able to treat it on my own, until I get back? I'm scared of it getting worse but I can't go to doctors in foreign countries, I don't think I can afford it.

    2. Rose

    3. Lilac

    4. Navy

    5. Sea Breeze (the light blue)

    6. Black

Girls, which one would you buy yourself? Guys, which one would you like on your girlfriend/wife?

  • Why do I get hit on all the time now that I have a boyfriend?

Wow this is driving me crazy but guys never even gave me a second glance before. However, a few months ago I got my very first boyfriend at the age of 20 and since then I get hit on ALL the time. I don't even know how to react to it because it's so new to me. Last night a guy even started flirting with me when I was actually with my boyfriend, it was so odd. Why is it that guys are suddenly noticing me now that I have a boyfriend?

  • Do you usually write an inscription inside a book that you give someone?

I ask because I am practically incapable of writing inside a book (I feel like I'm ruining it), yet my boyfriend ALWAYS writes me an inscription inside books he gives me and I absolutely love it.

Do you only write inscriptions for certain people?

    What do you usually write?

Do you ever receive books with inscription?

I'm kind of conflicted because I bought a tiny little pocket sized book for my boyfriend, for no occasion, just because I saw it and thought of him, it's about dreams (he has very weird and vivid dreams) and I am sitting here wondering if and what I should write inside. Does that ever happen to anyone else?

  • Why is my tongue yellow?

About 4 days ago I was brushing my teeth and noticed that my tongue was yellow, but I figured that it was caused by something I ate so I scrubbed my tongue with my tooth brush and used some Listerine rinse but the yellow remained. Well it's been like 4 days now and it's still yellow. The only thing that I'm doing different is I started taking iron pills because I went to the doctor about 2 weeks ago and they noticed my hemoglobin was low (due to my vegetarian diet) and told me to take iron pills once a day, which I've been doing. Could that be causing it somehow? And to top it off I'm coming down with some kind of cold or flu now, my nose is congested and my throat is killing me, could that have any relation? I'm going to talk with my doctor later but I'm just curious as to what it could be.

    Thanks =)

  • Have you ever gotten mooned?

Hahaha a group of high school kids got mooned today right in front of me, I guess technically it counts like if I was mooned since I witnessed it too. I found it quite amusing actually, a car full of loud high school boys just sped by with some guy sticking his bare naked butt out the window. It was a rather unimpressive sight, if I may say so myself. Why is it that it's never the people with nice butts who moon? Through it all, all I could think was how awkward it would be if they crashed the car and the poor kid was left unconscious in such an embarrassing position.

  • Anyone know where I can find a photo booth in Miami? ?

Do the malls have them anymore? Like Dolphin or Dadeland mall? I haven't gone to the mall in so long but I wanted to take some pictures at a photo booth to include in a Christmas present.

  • What bit me during the night?

So a week ago I woke up and realized something had bitten my little toe during the night, it was red and uncomfortable and when I looked at it with a magnifying glass I saw two little marks right next to each other. Well over the course of the week my toe got really red and swollen and I couldn't even wear shoes (ugh I've been wearing flip flops for a week and it's been raining all week, so disgusting stepping on puddles). Then over the last two days the redness has disappeared and the swelling has gone down a lot but now there is this huge blister on it, it's really disgusting looking and uncomfortable and I have no idea what to do. I've had similar experiences with ant bites (when I was a kid I was deeply allergic to ants so I spent most of my childhood with swollen feet hahaha) but I'm not sure if this is an ant bite or not, especially since it happened in my bed at night which makes me think it was a spider. Anybody have any similar experiences? Is there anything I can do so the gross blister goes away? Anything I can put on it?

  • What's it like going to a Buddhist temple?

I'm taking a religion class in school and one of my assignments is to visit a Buddhist temple. I've never gone to one before, but I found one near my house. I plan on going sometime this week but I'm kind of nervous because I don't know anything about Buddhism. What should I expect? What will it look like inside? Is it just a big room with a Buddha statue in which one can meditate? Also, I was reading the "do's and don'ts" for the temple and it said "The monks are prohibited from any physical contact with females. They are not allowed in close proximity to them and may not receive any item directly from them by hand." does this mean that I'm also not allowed to talk to the monks? I'm going to a Theravada temple if it makes any difference.

    This is the temple's website:

  • Do you have any weird phobias?

I do, my family all tease me mercilessly because I've always had a weird cotton phobia. I cannot touch cotton at all, it just gives me goosebumps all over and makes me feel really weird hahaha. Felt makes me feel the same way. I know, I know, I'm a freak. I will say this, it was a pain in the *** in elementary school when I had to make some stupid art project out of cotton balls and I had to touch them while trying not to make it noticeable that I was completely uncomfortable so no other kid would find out and tease me. I'm slowly overcoming it though, I can now use Q-tips as long as my fingertips don't touch the cotton hahaha. So am I the only one with a weird phobia?

  • Did you ever have an imaginary friend?

I used to feel weird because I never had an imaginary friend when I was a child and I always wanted one. My brother and I felt like we were missing out on our childhoods by not having imaginary friends so we both made some up hahaha.

But then again, I guess it's kind of a weird thing to have if you think about it, I was talking to a little girl today who told me she has an imaginary friend who is always talking to her and she told me the oddest things that her imaginary friend has supposedly told her, it honestly scared the hell out of me.

If you did have an imaginary friend, do you think it weirded people out when you told them? Did you tell others or did you usually keep it to yourself?

  • What were you like when you were a kid?

I was pretty weird, but really quiet. I think I was a pretty easy kid to handle, except during my "rebel years," which oddly enough took place when I was 7-8 and I drove my mom absolutely crazy because I refused to do anything I was supposed to do. I was a huge outcast in school though because I never talked to anyone when I was young, all the kids always asked me if I was mute in elementary and preschool hahaha. I wasn't your average kid though because I hated cake, ice cream, soda, and most candies, which puzzled my parents to no end and you can imagine the looks I got at birthday parties when I turned down a piece of cake or a spot near the piñata haha

  • What song best describes your life at the moment?

    And why that song?

Mine would be....."It's the End of the World As We Know It" by R.E.M because it has a sad message but with upbeat music so it's kind of contradicting. It's exactly how I feel about my life is right now, hopeless yet upbeat and like everything is fine.

  • Is Wal-Mart trying to brainwash us to like Hannah Montana?

I went to my local Wal-Mart yesterday and there were Hannah Montana posters everywhere, as well as merchandise but that makes sense since she's such a tweenie sensation nowadays. But, what I found extremely odd is that for the whole 2 hours or so that I was there, Wal-Mart just played the "best of both worlds" song over and over and over and over again. It drove me crazy and I couldn't wait to get out of there. Then, I went back this morning and they were playing the Hannah Montana theme song over and over again. What's up with that? Has Wal-Mart struck some kind of deal with Disney or something?

  • What are your opinions on the Westboro Baptist Church?

I had never even heard about them until the news broke out that they plan to picket Heath Ledger's funeral and I was totally appalled and disgusted. Then I learned that they have a history of picketing funerals, especially soldier funerals! Have these people no respect for the dead? Now I just saw a very disturbing documentary on them and you can view it here http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-441338814... (it's long though but just the first minute of the girls singing their own version of "God Bless the USA" is the most disturbing thing I have ever witnessed, yes, even worse than Jesus Camp). What makes people so hateful?

  • Who is your embarrassing crush?

We've all had them, a crush so embarrassing that you hate to admit it. I've had plenty but the only one that comes to mind now is a few years ago when I liked Haley Joel Osment (kid from the 6th sense), no one knows about that crush except for my best friend and my brother and I still get teased about it to this day.

  • "Welcome to Miami, Bienvenido a Miami" song?

Ok this has been driving me crazy for years now. In the nineties there was a popular song that had the chorus "welcome to miami, bienvenido a miami" sung by a woman. It was very 90s sounding and I think it was popular at the time. I live in Miami and whenever I travel and return with my family or friends I start singing "Welcome to Miami, Bienvenido a Miami" and everyone just stares at me like if I'm crazy and when I ask them if they know what song that is they all think I made it up but I know I didn't and it's been driving me crazy forever now. Whenever I look up those words online it just leads me to a bunch of casino websites. Does anyone have a clue what song it is?
