I am applying for a Schengen Business visa to Netherlands.

On the way back to USA, can I stop at Paris and stay for a couple of days as a tourist?

What must I have in order to make this happen? What must I specify in the visa application form?

I am leaving on a business Schengen visa to Netherlands. I need suggestions on

1) If I can leave to another country (say Belgium/Germany) just to visit, after my short business trip is over. If yes, what documents must I have at the other countries? I've not specified other countries in my visa application yet.

2) Places to see inside Netherlands.

3) How long to extend my trip after my business trip so I can see other good places. Suggestions on places to visit will be appreciated.

After the scan, the report says everything is normal.. I didn;t have time to show the CT scan to a pulmonologist... I just wanted to know that my lungs were in proper working order. Please help ... Do the following mean that I have nothing to worry about? (I have no history of diseases - and no history in the family)

"No evidence of pulmonary collapse"

"No evidence of bronchiectasis"

... and so on...

Finally it says "Normal Study of the chest--suggested clinical correlation"

I bought a brand new high end Y580 from Lenovo. The audio recording is terrible. The recording is good with just the voice. However, if I want to record a karaoke with input from the speaker as well, it is terrible. This does not happen in my other laptops and I wonder what the problem is. I have been living in this terrible place with a roommate, who is a 42 yr old American freak, He has been torturing me by bringing in strangers at night who are crackheads. They smoke weed inside the apartment - sometimes snort cocaine. He keeps decreasing the temperature to make the apt. ridiculously cool. After smoking weed, they play video games loud late at night. In fact, this is happening right now and it's 4:49 am here. I haven't got any help from my property management... Should I tell them all this? I don't want the freak roommate to be caught by the police or anything. My lease runs for one more year and I haven't been able to sleep for months now....

To top all this, there was a robbery in my apartment, where the third roommate's laptop was stolen. As i was in the apartment, the robber fled after seeing me.

I want to walk out of the lease. WHAT EXACTLY would happen if I just move out. How would they make me pay/ track me down ?

One of my colleagues here entered USA under the student visa (or the F-1 status I think). He applied for a H1-B and was approved.

With the approval status letter, all he got was a new I-94 that they've asked to pin in his passport along with his current I-94. So, how does he get a new stamping now? When does he need to get it? (does he have to get it whenever he leaves a country?) or does he NOT have to get a stamping at all ?

I have a spectrum analyzer and some weird activity is going on there.

1) I see two networks on Channel 11, which is where my company wi-fi is. I traced them out to two projectors, 7 to 10 rooms away.

How is my wifi analyzer detecting a projector network in the first place ? (seems like it came with a transmitter?) Do overhead projectors come with a wireless (Wi Fi)transmitter antenna?

I was looking at some Wireless projectors, and all I could find was that the projectors connect to your wireless access point and you can manage them from a browser.

2) This is a problem because, my access point network ( signal strength of -70dBm) drops off and comes on after a small time. This is visible even while doing a very small browsing activity. Interestingly, the signal strength of the projector also rises to about -50dBm to -60dBm.

Would I be able to change the channel of operation of the projector.? ( never found that option on some panasonic ones - maybe I missed it?)

UNFORTUNATELY, I don't know what brand the projector is.

I am guessing a very advanced Panasonic or IBM .

I need to get to India. I've got 2 laptops, iPad (less than rs 25k i guess ) and an Android phone. I was browsing through the Indian customs site. Everything is unclear. If you've been down there before, I would appreciate it, if you let me know WHERE to put each of these items?

Can all of them be in my carry-on? or should i put some stuff in my check-in luggage?

I've been smoking for a year. I don't want to quit because I am bored all the time. I am 20 years old. Recently, after 5 minutes of smoking, I have started to repeat phrases and words over and over again for about 5 more minutes - after which I stop doing it. The phrase could be anything online or on the newspaper or sometimes even a comment that I made to someone years ago. Is this a symptom for something? I've googled and found Dementia and OCD but I don't think these are it. I've already been accepted to pursue a Ph.D. That's why I find it hard to believe this is dementia. Thanks

I am a student and recently got an SSN. I transferred an AT&T connection to my SSN. The sweet-talking customer support woman said specifically that "there would be no charges involved". I logged in today and saw another $500 added to my account payable. When I called, a sleepy black woman answered the phone and said that I had failed the credit evaluation and that the evaluation was done IN HOUSE... ie they can charge $500 for anyone without giving any explanation... I don't care if this is a security deposit... My income is clean. I don't have credit cards and my financials are intact... To pay or not to pay? if i don't pay, I can return the phone, but they would send a report stating that I had cancelled my phone without paying, which would definitely LOWER my credit score... in other words, when u get AT&T in America, you are their bit.c.h !!

There are 2 laptops on my network. I test the Internet data rates on both. One is a Dell Inspiron 1520 and the other is a ThinkPad T 61. In Dell when it is about 7.5 Mbps , it is about 12.9 Mbps in the Thinkpad. That is ridiculous.

What are the default Wireless cards for these ? I assume that their capacity should be the same. (laptops are almost similar price range) .. What is causing this difference? Both laptops are clean i.e no bugs/errors in either.
