I know I did a stupid thing so no need to point that out, I just need to make sure (to the best of my ability) to make good decisions going forward. I owe 21K on two credit cards and since I lost a ton of money with my 401k funds I only have about 42K there. I won't be retiring anytime soon, (who can) but It's getting harder to make the payments and keep up with everything else. I've never been late, gone over the limit etc. so should I take the funds from the 401k and pay off the cards or leave the money where it is? I do appreciate any help.

I have a lot of baking to do for the holidays and I would love to freeze cookies. Every time I freeze something I get freezer burns. Is it ok to freeze cookies and how do I avoid the freezer burn? Thanks in advance for your help.

as I do. Serious question that I would love to see other views on. It appears to me that she was selected, for one reason, to get the vote of women. I find it insulting that anyone would think a woman is going to vote for her for that reason alone. The first time I saw her with her hair up and dressed nicely I was impressed. Last night with her hair down and the way she was dressed made her look dowdy, or, no threat to women voters by not looking as good as she could. Yes, I am for Obama but I'm trying to be objective and I'm having an issue with her. I'm just wondering if anyone is seeing what I am and feeling the same way. Please, no snide answers. what I'm going to do when I get old? It's really been bothing me so I decided to try to find out if I was the only one. I work full time, love my job and plan on working as long as I can. But, what if something happens to me; I have very little money put aside as I was to dumb to listen when people told me to start saving. Am I the only person with not enough money to actually retire? Worry about where I might wind up? I'm divorced with no children and just wonder how others feel. Please, this is, for me a serious issue. Thanks

Heard on the news that members of Congress are trying to get him to release oil that is stored so that oil prices will go down, supposedly by $2.00 a barrel. Truckers are paying about $1,200 for a fill up and Ford F150's are costing over $100.00 for same. How and why does he do this. So how long before some people are choosing between food or gas? Not an outside cat, Kallie broke her back leg making a bad jump from upstairs. Vet says must keep her confined for one month. Can't use a big cage, can't get it in the apt. Bathroom? Hate to keep her in there. I work so am away all day. Any good suggestions that may be helpful would be more than appreciated. Thanks!

The 14 year old and the 8 year old have been together for almost 8 years. Older female is more laid back. The 8 year old is more jumpy and hides if someone comes in the house. New cat was dumped by her owners and is currently at the vet getting all the necessary things done so she can come home. Any advice will be appreciated.
