  • Is Oriental Bank of Commerce a good bank?

I am completely fed up with all the private banks in India, and most government banks are asking for Introducers, and I don't know any. Oriental bank of commerce is happy to give me an account without and introduction, but can I trust them with my money? Do they process NEFT and RTGS transactions properly? And do they process international transactions properly? Anyone with any good (or bad) experience with them?

  • My father ruined my life?

Yes he did. Just because he thought I would fail my high school exams before the results came out, he made me join a radio repair course when I wanted to go to college like normal people do. My marks were 60% when teh results came out, wasn't high, but was fair enough. This ruined my self esteem when every one who studied with me went to college and I went to a small shop like environment to learn how to repair radios. When that course ended in a year, he made me go to another mediocre institute that offered a diploma in Technical Education surrounded by people not of my standards, and when I nagged him a lot after that course, he put me in a namesake engineering college where I couldn't study properly as through all my time in that college he was repeatedly threatening me that he would make me sit only in a radio shop and that I would never be able to get a decent engineers job. This i believe was a move by him to justify his putting me in that radio repair course 4 years previously.

Now I find myself not suitable to look for a job anywhere, nor do a business of my own, and the only thing I do now to make money is do freelancing work online, which still isn't what I dreamed of when I was in school.

I loose interest in things very quickly, I waste a lot of time, I wander around aimlessly, and I waste a lot of the money I make.

    This is my self analysis.

If I go and talk to my father now, he would tell me that he was right about making me sit in a radio shop. Well, he made it happen. He made me good for nothing else. And I am not strong enough to go and confront him.

My brother on the other hand who scored just as much marks as me has a great job now and has a regular flow of income. His education was in a good stream, and he was sent to a good college, and im ****** jelous of him and thats killing me too.

I am a looser. I couldn't fight then, and I still dont have the balls to fight now. What should I do? Accept what I have got and cut relations with everyone who is making me feel low? Or give up and fall at their feet and tell them all that I was born to loose.

I have a diiploma in electrical and electronics engineering. I have spent the last 7 years working with computers and internet, and I am pretty bored with it. I wish to change my career. • How soon should a baby start talking?

My son is 2 years and 9 months old, and he still hasn't started talking. He does repeat the alphabets and numbers (1-10) along with us, says hi when he sees us, but thats about it. No real communication. He is almost 3 years old and it is kinda getting us worried. Is this ok? And he is a premature baby, born in the 8th month itself. Does that have anything to do with this?

  • When is it right to think that your wife is a liablity?

I got married when I was quite young. Im an Indian so it was an Arranged Marriage. After 4 years I realize that myself and my wife don't have anything in common. We don't like the same kind of entertainment, the same food etc, and she doesn't walk with me when we go out and stays a few steps ahead or behind me, and we have nothing to talk. She cooks up a moderate lunch and dinner at home, and neither of us have breakfast. And she just keeps on complaining. This provokes me at times and I start shouting and she starts calling me crazy. She is a milestone around my neck now. Is it time that I call her a liability not worth bearing any longer? I really think that I'd rather live alone now.

Also, we have a son. What should I do? Put my life in priority? Or put his?

  • Which city is better? Delhi or Bombay?

I am pissed with the tiny town that I have been living in all these years, and I guess it is time that I move out to a better city. I have been into Share trading and Internet Marketing, so as long as there is internet anywhere is fine for me.

I'm looking for lots offun in my free time. Places to walk about, eat and shop and stuff. I travelled across the country in the past year, visited almost all major and minor cities in the country, and have narrowed down to Delhi and Bombay.

Weather is horrible in Delhi, The only time people can be there is during the spring, mid feb to mid april. But Bombay is good all around the year, except for the possible floods during the monsoons.

Delhi accepts everyone into their society, but Bombay hates Tamilians, and I am one.

Need help in picking the best place for me.

    Thanks

  • Ache in the gum behind my wisdom tooth and inner ear?

I often get this ache in either of my ear and in my gums behind the respective wisdom tooth. I am sure that the gums are clean always and there is no food particle sticking inside it. Could it be an ear infection? Went to a doc once and he gave me some anti biotic and asked me to take it for 3 days every time it happens, but even without the drugs the pain goes away in 3 days.

Anyone know of any ways that I can make sure I dont get the pain again?
