ok so i work for a law firm that handles real estate deals in Virginia me and three of my colleagues gave 1 week notice about quiting now we have gotten our checks but there not signed so what is the law firms obligation to pay us and how long do they have to cut and send us our checks ......what should we do legally we worked for our last pay period but we are thinking they will try to not pay us

this is not a joke i am completely serious

why dont we just put this question to a vote?

see us smokers actually want to be taxed it would add alot of money to the economy and save millions in money usually used for law inforcement, and incarceration of marijuana offenders.

as evidenced by todays online town hall with our president, and other factors i beleive that the majority of americans would be more than happy to legalize this non-addictive substance.

the fact is alchohol and tobacco in themselves are each 1000 times more lethal than marijuana, and i beleive if they are to be legal why not a natural non-addictive subsatnce like marijuana?

if you disagree please state why, and please dont use the old its a "Gateway Drug" line that is getting old and it has been scientificly proven that this is not the case, alchohol users are more than 400 times more likely to move on to more destructive and addictive drugs than marijuana users!!

lately when inquiring into why my electric bill has went up i have come across the fact that , it seems utillity's do not have to obey they same monopoly laws that normal businesses have to obey now i do not know if this is considered a monopoly, but because there is only one electric, and phone phone company that services our area i called around to a couple of other phone company's and el;ectric company's and i always get the same question, wich is what is my address i give it to them and then they tell me that there company doesnt service that area that this other company does. pretty much what i am trying to understand is why is it legal for utillity company's to divide up states? in doing this iit means that if you want electricity or phone you can only get it from the one company that services your area making it extremely easy for them to charge whatever they want because they know that you cant go anywhere else, how is this legal? there is no competition therefor they can charg
