I'm trying to school shop for my son. He'll be going in to the 9th grade this year. He has no sense of fashion, I'm going to blame it on the uniforms...lol He has to wear plain shirts with a color and pant (no jeans) but can choose any color they just cannot display logos. He can wear any type shoe. My question is, what brands are in now for teens? What shoes? Any links will be helpful. Thanks!

I have four nephews that range from 13 - 17. I have no idea what to get them because I think their parents get them everything they want. I don't even know where to start! No CD's, Movies or Games - they can get that online. Something they will like and not a bunch of money. Under $30.

I used to never have problems with my son. If I did I'd take is playstation away or whatever and it's be fine. But now it's not. He's always made straight A's now that he's in honor classes (6th grade) He's just stopped doing his work so I'm having to punish him and it's sooooo hard to stick to it. He's sitting here crying and I hate it. I know I have to. Part of tough love huh? Any advice will be great. He's just not motivated and just doesn't care. I know he can do it if he'd just do his work.

My and my boyfriend decided we wasn't going to do anything fancy for Valentines this year because we are both short on money. We've been together for 7 years. I was going to cook him his favorite dinner and make him his favorite cake. But I wanted to do something else special like a poem or note or maybe burn him a CD. What do you guys think? My dog is adopted and just the sweetest thing. We've had her since she was 3 months old and she's 4 now. She's just scared of everything but I have to say the thing that cracks me up the most is her with her water bowl.... I got her the Petmate Le Bistro that hold about 2 gallons of water. She's been having it for a while but she walks up to it slowly and stretches her head as far out as it will go to lick the water.....I finally realized it was because it scares her when the water bubbles up to refill the bowl....LOL so she will drink a little (stretching out) then she will jump back......then she will go again and jump back. It's so funny.
