  • 2012 Benz E350 or 2013 Audi A5 or 12-13'Cadillac cts coupe?

I am indecisive on a new car. What is for sure, my lease is up, I'm looking to finance. I want a coupe. I have 10k down but I want payments less than 500 max.

    1) E350 has 32,000 miles. In good condition. The car fax shows 1 owner. Minor accident reported looks like a fender bender maybe. Priced 36,500. It is fully loaded with all the upgrades I love...navigation, wood trim, rear camera, glass sunroof, etc.

    2) Audi A5 has 5,000 miles. Certified. One owner, priced at 36,500 also. BUT NO OPTIONS. Boring German base model. It's an 4cylinder 211 hp but torque makes it go. Gas mpg is great at 20 minimum city. Plus the dealer is tossing in free maintenance for 2yrs.

    3) Cadillac is very affordable. 30k to 35k. Low mileage maybe 15,000-20,000. It is also base. Thus, boring no options.

I struggle with emotions of getting what I like, vs money sense and purchasing a good quality car. Obviously, I love upgraded options like the E350. But I don't want to pay top dollar for a truly used auto. However, overall, this is the best deal as the first owner has already take the biggest depreciation hit.

The Audi is a great buy, but it is stylish but so boring, with a 4 cylinder engine, no option. I like but no in love with it. However, with the payments/expense comes a peace of mind.

The Cadillac is my humble side. It is trendy, but base model also. However, it is certified with low miles, and less money.

I want a car I'd enjoy, and keep for a long time after the payoff terms. However, i want the best deal, for the best reliable car. Please voice your opinions and final car pick, with all you know on these cars. Thanks.

  • Categorize me & a place that I can worship God?

    Greetings,

I don't want to drag this out so, in a nutshell: I am trying to find a place of worship that is suitable to my beliefs. Oddly, I have discover my uniqueness and determined my own set of beliefs sort of! I was born to a Christian family, but do not accept the literally translation of the holy trinity and Jesus as my savior. Instead I pray to the Creator, God of Jesus. I accept the prophets in the bible and common to the three major religions, Christianity, Judaism Islam. But I am not concerned about the dogmatic view of either. I simply want to love, worship and develop a relationship with my most high God. But I am looking for a congregation to strengthen those beliefs and fellowship. So my question is, what denomination would this fall under?

  • Muslim women earn more than spouse...problem?

Greetings... Straight to the point....I make more than my husband. I don't brag about it, or have an ego about it at all. I am submissive as much as possible. However, I am a nurse and work 14hour days. I am usually too exhausted to cook EVERYDAY or have sex more than twice weekly. I still do my home chores, like washing clothes, dishes, cleaning the house, etc... But my husband does not respect my time limitations. Nonetheless, he expect me to work around him. As of now, we are staying with his mother because our house had a fire...and he had no insurance. I even provide our health care plan from my employer. I pay all my bills. Mortgage is paid, utility is his only responsibility. Since its Ramadan we definitely are under restraints when it comes to no sex in daytime. Only night. I don't feel comfortable at his moms place having sex. He says I am depriving him. However. I am tired at night due to working and need sleep to began work before dawn. Is it fair for my husband who has no job to put such pressure on me.he says I'm not full filing my obligations. am I a bad Muslim wife? But I have to work because he can't support me. Please provide a respectful answer. Thanks. This response is open to nonmuslims too. Keep in mind Religion does not have to be a factor to the maritial issue at hand.

  • I need DIVORCE ADVICE?

Really quick...I've been in a relationship with this man for 10 years. Married for 8 years. Legally married for 6 months. (Don't ask). In a nutshell... he is 13 years older than me. I'm sick of being with him. He has cheated, been abusive. He is arrogant. He hide all his assets in other persons name. He has lack of communication and now he's going broke. Okay that was the bad part. He is supportive in my endeavors. Been there for me through thick and thin ( although mostly thin) and if he did have it (financially) Its mostly proven that he will give (although after he got for himself).

Now that was the life story. Heres' the plan: I want to relocate to another state. I am a nurse. I make descent money. I have dear friends in this state and everytime I go, I never want to leave. I had plans of moving there with the hubby but, now I plan to leave him behind.

Here's the problem: Deep inside I'm scared that I may be searching for the unknown emptiness in my heart. I may not be acting level headed. I never been on my own since 18, leaving home to be with my husband. But I'm still young and I want to live life and not waste anymore of the early days on unhappiness. But I'm afraid the grass might not be greener on the other side as my single friends explain.

  • How far would you drive to work?

What is the furthest distance in time and/or miles that you would commute to work? Consider economic hardships, high unemployment nowadays, part time/full time hours, pay rate etc. If it matters to you.

    Thanks

  • What is Disability of Nonage? Florida Statute 743.07?

My husband is paying child support to a dead beat, welfare leech. His daughter turns 18 soon but the mother receives disability for the child. This child is not disable! She is smart talks, walks, thinks, functions normally within society better than the average. It was another gimmick for the mom to get government funds. Usually, I would expect the child support to end at age 18, but she labeled the daughter "disable". However, she will not be an adult dependent, as so she will be entitled to receive her own disability(SSI) check. However, I am unsure if my husband will have to continue to pay child support over age 18 due to the "disability" issue at hand. But I researched Florida Statute 743.07...

DISABILITY OF NONAGE OF MINORS REMOVED

743.07 Rights, privileges, and obligations of persons 18 years of age or older.—

    (1) The disability of nonage is hereby removed for all persons in this state who are 18 years of age or older, and they shall enjoy and suffer the rights, privileges, and obligations of all persons 21 years of age or older except as otherwise excluded by the State Constitution immediately preceding the effective date of this section and except as otherwise provided in the Beverage Law.

    (2) This section shall not prohibit any court of competent jurisdiction from requiring support for a dependent person beyond the age of 18 years when such dependency is because of a mental or physical incapacity which began prior to such person reaching majority or if the person is dependent in fact, is between the ages of 18 and 19, and is still in high school, performing in good faith with a reasonable expectation of graduation before the age of 19.

    (3) This section shall operate prospectively and not retrospectively, and shall not affect the rights and obligations existing prior to July 1, 1973.

I'm not sure if this statute correlates that my husband's child support order and will stop at age 18. Plus, it was never written in his original child support order. Can someone please clarify the phrase "Disability of Nonage removed" and this statute in plain language please?

Thanks for reading and your help. Serious responds please.

  • I am losing friends, and don't know how to meet new ones...?

Hello! Once a time ago, I had many friends. We would go out to nightclubs, mall, drive every together etc. That was almost 5 years ago or less. I am now 27. Me and my friends have definitely changed for the better. Some have gotten married (including me), others have moved out of state, have children, or got other friends or even become so religious there is no common ground for socializing. The crazy thing is we still consider ourselves as best friends to each other. But I truly feel we are growing apart and I know this is normal. But I guess what bothers me the most is, if you're wearing the title of "Best friend" then, you should be held responsible for full filling that role/relationship. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not needy. In fact, I was one of the first in the circle of friends to get married. But, the only friend I have is my husband. I'd like to find a mature friend who has much in common with my upbringing, but embrace productive growth. Positive attitude, unselfish, respect my marriage/theirs, but like to socialize such as having dinner and participating in activities together.

So should I be vocal with my friends about not being good friends. Or seriously stop considering them friends. And how can I find friends? Or once you get a certain age do your old friends disappear and finding true new friend is impossible?

  • Follow my mind or heart?

I work in a clinic as a nurse (per diem). I've been offered a full time position, mondays, wednesdays, fridays from 4:30am - 7pm. I am soooo not a morning person! But could really use the money/benefits. Also, I'm not a fan of the job either. The specialty is not for me. I've been looking for another specialty/field of work for the past year. Should I continue to wait or take the job offer now, unhappily?

  • Workplace Bullying & Contradictions...Do I have to assume this role?

Hi, I am a registered nurse. I work for a company that has a policy stating any nurse must have "at least one year clinical nursing experience" to assume a charge nurse position. I was even transferred out of my base clinic because I did not meet these qualifications (even though they hired me). In other words I have been thrown out in the field/company to find my own hours and work, with no leadership. Since then, I have been a float nurse, not in charge. Well, recently a boss of a clinic scheduled me to cover for a charge nurse on leave. When he asked, he did not inform me of the charge nurse role. I found out this info today, but I am scheduled to work tomorrow. So I called and told him its against company policy for me to assume charge role. Well, another boss called and said, be careful I don't won't to get a reputation for not following up with a commitment. Am I wrong? Can I be penalized for this. Isn't the boss wrong for forcing me to disregard policies within the company. I fear as soon as something goes wrong, I'll have the sticky fingers. Im just trying to protect myself and liscense. Help!

  • Do you lose healthcare benefits if your hours are involuntarily reduced at work, temporarily?

I've been hired into this company as a part-time employee, but almost never has had a permanent place of work. In other words the company floats me around different clinics, temporarily. Recently, they have offered me another "temp" position and the worst clinic of all, with the worst schedule. I'm in overkill with the issue. I never signed up for this float mess, and feeling used/abused. I clearly was hired as a part-time nurse, but have been manipulated into all types of postions/schedules. My question is, if I opt for per diem until a permanent position becomes available, will I lose my healthcare benefits?

  • Money/ Marriage/Accountability/Responsibility?

I have been in a common marriage for 7 years. Relationship total 11years. My husband and I are 13years apart. I am in my 20's...he's in the late 30s. Throughout my entire relationship my husband has been a provider. I have rarely ever paid a bill on my own no matter how small or large. ( I must admit its gotten larger over the years). My husband supported me while I went to college and been a stay at home wife/stepmother. The kids are grown and gone. I now have a decent degree and job. However, I am still part-time at work and seeking a masters degree. My husband does NOT want to pay ANY of my BILLS now that I work, kids are gone and I have a career. I say that's not fair. I still need help, and besides he should be accountable for something he as done all the years (provider role). Technically, he wants me to pay all my personal bills, while he pay household bills. The rest of his money he invest into his OWN INVESTMENTS. Which is why I believe he does not want to contribute to my finances anymore. Considering the roles, age difference, and what we have been doing traditionally in the home. Is it fair for him to demand a "BREAK". Since, I am continuing my agreed role, is it fair for him to "quit" his under these circumstances?

  • Complicated EX boyfriend/ BFF Issue? Help?

Me and my best female friend have known each other prior to pre-kindergarten due to friends of family and from the same tight knit neighborhood. Basically we're both over the age of 25, she has a son and I'm married, but I dated her male relative cousin (which is well known). We both are from large families that live nearly next door to each other and both have family events often. The weird part is her cousin was incarcerated for 9yrs(dead beat) and I've been married ever since. He's just been released. Now my husband has insecurities, and dislike me to join "our" family events...her's and mine, for fear that I will be in contact with my ex. I would never end my friendship with my BFF. Her family is apart of mine...and vice versa. I love the family events, but the situation is a bit uncomfortable with my husband apart of this circle now and the EX is home? What do I do? How should it be handled?

  • How many times should my dog pee a day?

My 7 month old maltese is constantly barking to go outside and urinate. First of all he wakes me up at 6:00am then throughout the day at least every 2-3hours. That's about 8-10 times a day. All the way until 11pm. is this normal at his age? Will he learn to hold his bladder longer as he gets older? Anyone know by experience?

  • Should I drop this nursing class?

Im taking GIGU/ medical surgical course right now. We have 4 test. The passing score is 37 points, out of 50 We have taken 2 of the 4 tests so far. My grade is:

    Test 1- 36pts (fail)

    Test 2- 37pts (pass)

    Test 3- (pending)

    Test 4- (pending)

The withdraw date is before test #3. As you can see I only passed test 2 (just barely). I'm not sure if I want to be pressured for the next two test in order to pass. If I fail the class w/o withdrawing i get booted out the program for good. If i withdraw I get set back 6 months. Not to mention i'm already 6 months behind from when i initially started. Right now I feel like if I have to take another setback, I will want to quit anyways and go get another degree. I feel like nursing isn't working for me. Besides I want to seek a lower stress field in demand, but nursing is all i know so far. Do you think, with these scores i should take the chance of studying my butt off or be safer than sorry and withdraw?
