  • 1 week late, two negative tests.?

My period is late. I had protected sex 8 days before my next cycle was supposed to start. I took a pregnancy test the day after my expected period, and now, a week later. Both negative.

Instead, I've been having a lot of watery discharge.

I recently gained 6 pounds though and have been going to the gym 6 days a week for 90 minutes a day. Could that affect anything?

  • My pit bull lab mix has suddenly become aggressive only to our other dog?

We have a spayed pit bull Labrador mix that has suddenly become very aggressive towards our other dog. It first happened a few weeks ago when we were busy all day and hadn't had a chance to feed the dogs until late. This one was on us. We broke up the fight, then fed each dog in separate rooms. After that, they were peaceful again. Then thanksgiving rolled around and our pit bull suddenly attacked the other dog again in a more serious manner when the other strayed too close to the turkey. We separated them again for some time, punishing each, and again, they were fine with each other up until just recently. Now, every time our pit bull has a bone, she hides it then appears to stalk our other dog.

Food seems to be the common trigger in each situation. We've increased her food to see if it helps but the aggression whenever food is involved.

She is spayed, as I said, and about two years old. Could it be that we are not giving her enough exercise to keep the "natural pit bull aggression" at bay? My mother used to walk her daily, but she went away on a trip for some time and up until she returned, we simply let the dog out in to the yard to do her own thing. Now my mother is back and plans on walking her again, but we'd like to see if there is something we need to do specifically, since the fighting always seems to be over food, which we give her plenty of (We feed her daily, and she often gets bits and pieces of whatever we're eating, and my mom babies her and gives her treats on almost an hourly basis) Could it be she's gotten spoiled?

She is usually an affectionate dog and is only aggressive towards OUR other dog. Outside, we leave her lose in the yard and she's fine with neighboring dogs. I don't believe the whole "Pit bulls are just natural fighters" idea. I believe that a dog's behavior is always a reflection of the owner, so please tell us what we need to change.

  • How to "correct a molecule"? Not entirely understanding the question.?

On an assignment, I am being told to "Correct the following molecules"

    13. C-C-C=O

    14. C-C-N-H

    15. C-O

    16. H-C-C-C-H

However, I do not understand what this means? Does it mean to correct the bonds between each molecule? I've read and re-read the chapter in our text book but it is not sinking in. I also e-mailed the professor. Since it is a distance course, she is unable to meet with me and I am still waiting for an answer. I'm wondering if anyone could be of help?

  • My period is acting a bit wonky? Confused?

At the end of July, my boyfriend and I had protected sex. I had had the feeling that I was pregnant. However, what I assumed was my period came in August, right on time, though it lasted longer than usual. This month however, it is late. Could I still be pregnant or could it be my change in lifestyle?

At the beginning of this month, I started classes full time, am working full time and have started drinking more than usual.

  • Is this happening way too fast? Conception spotting?

I feel like it is and I'm wondering if this is normal.

    Period started: Feb 15

    Period ended: Feb 18

    Had sex on: Feb 21.

    Fertile days: 25-31

    Ovulation: March 1

I haven't had any pains or signs, but I did begin what appears to be a light brown mark on my underwear on the 2nd. I doesn't look like blood but it is dry. I'm wondering if this is conception spotting?

  • Could I still be pregnant? What immediate signs did you have?

My period starts on the 15th and ends on the 18th. Every month it's the same. My cycle is 28days. I had protected sex on the 21st, with my fertile days starting from the 26th. Since I ovulate today (March 1st) I would like to think that I couldn't get pregnant, but my stomach has been feeling a bit odd.

I wonder if this is from pregnancy or because of my sudden change in diet.

What immediate signs did you have?

  • Is it safe to fast during the first weeks of pregnancy?

I've been planning to do a fast for a while now.

However, I'm not even sure if I'm pregnant. I had protected sex a few days after my period (about a week ago), and according to my calender, it wasn't during a fertile time, but one never knows.

I plan on continuing my intention to fast, but I was wondering if it could do any damage to the baby if I have one. I know that further along in to a pregnancy, it causes no damage, but what about in the beginning stages?

For the people who say "Just get an abortion if you don't want it," it's not even about that, so don't bother. Thanks =)

  • How possible is Pre-*** pregnancy?

My period lasted from the 18th to the 21st. I had sex between the 23rd and 24th. I'm usually on a 27 day cycle. We stopped as soon as I realized he didn't have a condom so we didn't get far, but I'm concerned. I'm aware that women can get pregnant at any time, but I was wondering what my chances were of getting pregnant from pre-*** were.

  • International Travel questions.?

I'm taking an international flight. The first leg of my trip begins in Alaska then takes me to Seattle. Since I'm switching flights there, will I be required to move my own luggage from point A to point B or will it automatically be moved for me since I have a continuing flight?

If they automatically transfer my bag, will I still be expected to pay a check in fee since my bag has switched to another carrier?

  • Why not be a part of the solution?

I've met alot of Americans who come to Japan wanting to live here permanently because they hate things about America (ie: Education..ect..).

Then, when things are unequal for foreigners, they complain and want change here in Japan.

Why not stay in America and demand the same?

Not picking a fight. I'm just curious as to why they come to another country for change but refuse to try to improve their own?

  • Have you ever recieved a dream so vivid as a reply to asking for a sign?

For the past year or so, I've told friends that I wouldn't even consider seriously becoming religious unti I had some kind of sign that I was supposed to do it. Last night, I had an amazingly vivid and straight forward dream.... that it's left me pretty bothered and feeling very confused!

  • Do you find it sad that most people depend on Y! Answers to run their life?

I'm a little amused that there are quite a few people that post about every decision they need to make. I'm amused by it...but at the same time I think, "Wow...when I was 10 years old, I knew what I wanted to eat all by myself..." and "Oh man, some people still cant decide for themselves whether or not to wear sneakers or flip flops."

Amused by it? Not amused by it?

  • Do you feel magazines have ruined romance?

Magazines always have articles on how to get the best first kiss, 20 ways to sweep a woman off her feet, 30 ways to know he isn't in to you, Sure-fire ways to make him fall in love with you.

People follow them and I feel that it's taken the element of surprise out of romance. How do you feel?

  • How do you feel about Japan's solution?

How do you feel about Japan's solution to pay immigrants to go back home, and ban them permanently from Japan?

“We should stop letting unskilled laborers into Japan. We should make sure that even the three-K jobs are paid well, and that they are filled by Japanese,” he said. “I do not think that Japan should ever become a multiethnic society.”

He said the United States had been “a failure on the immigration front,” and cited extreme income inequalities between rich Americans and poor immigrants.

  • How to deal with such hate without a psychiatrist?

Ever since moving here, I've begun having more and more violent thoughts about my family and the strangers around me. 4 months and this feeling has not faded. As the violence in the thoughts increase, I find myself wanting to speak to a psychiatrist. However, I need a medical notice to do so, and they say my emotions are caused by culture shock.

Is there a way to deal with this without seeing a psychiatrist?
