  • 6 weeks 4 days pregnant- normal or time to all the dr?

Okay, so this isn't my first time around, but each time is different so I don't know what to think. I am so exhausted to the point I can barely sit up most of the day, I am having extreme thirst but when I drink I get nauseated (then get dry heaves), I am dizzy and having migraines (which the ob gave my imetrex (sp) for, and that works so-so). I have also gained like 12 lbs in the last week with no change to my eating or activity habits. I feel so bloated and miserable. I tried calling my dr, but his office is closed until Jan 4 (I have a routine appt on the 6th), and I am afraid if I go to the er my insurance won't pay. The other women's clinic in the same building won't see me because I started with someone else (even though I was a prior patient of theirs- they just wouldn't see me before 8 weeks and I had been having migraines for 2 1/2 weeks & needed some relief). I haven't been able to work because of safety issues with the dizziness (I climb a ladder and stand about 6 ft off the ground running a wizzard knife trimming meat (electric knife with a round blade). Should I just tough it out and not worry about more lost income? Or should I go to the er and pay a ton of money (basically being out probably close to the same)?

  • Compatible relationship??? Libra M age 22/ Libra F age 35?

We met a year ago at work and became instant friends. He has no children, I have a 3 year old daughter (he's great with her and she loves him to death). We were just friends but in January we started asking each other why we were so jealous when the other person spent a lot of time with someone of the opposite sex. Neither of us looking for anything. February we decided to move forward and see each other exclusively. We have never had an argument or fight, whenever we disagree we just talk things out. The biggest problem so far is deciding what to do/where to go/what to eat/etc because we both are big "pleasers". Is this something that could work???

  • I'm thinking about switching from a Windows laptop to a Mac, what do I need to look for?

I am currently running Windows Vista Home Premium with Microsoft Office 2007 on an HP with 1.6GHz Intel Centrino Duo processor, 2GB RAM and 120GB hard drive and a CD/DVD-RW. I want something comparable (ok, maybe just a little faster or with more memory). Any suggestions would be great. Thanks in advance.

  • Should I change the "air temperature control module" or the fan motor first to fix my car's climate control?

Ok, so here's the deal. The fan used to stay on all the time (I couldn't shut it off, even if the console was "off"), but now it won't come on. So nothing comes out, but... only when the car isn't moving. If the car is moving, especially on the highway, cold air comes out when the a/c is on and hot air comes out when the heat is on. So... I'm not a mechanic, but if the appropriate air comes out when the car is moving but the fan just doesn't come on, I'm a little concerned that my mechanic is just trying to get more money out of me, even though he's been a very reliable mechanic in the past. Oh, not sure if it makes any difference, it's a '99 Chrysler 300M Please help. Thanks.

  • Opinions on LG Scoop vs Moto Rokr from Alltel?

I currently have the Moto Rokr z6m, but it keeps turning itself off and on. This is the 3rd one I've had in less than a year. I love it when it works, but I have had horrible luck with it, so I am thinking about getting a different phone. I like the look of the LG Scoop, and am just wondering how good of a phone it is and if it gets good signal (I live in a rural area). I know I would be downgrading as far as a camera, but if it's a better phone I don't care. Also, reviews on other Alltel phones would be welcome as well. Thanks.

  • Is an oxygen concentrator normal treatment for sleep apnea, and can oxygen cause headaches?

I've had several test where overnight I wore the thing on my finger to test my oxygen saturation levels, and apparently the levels went down because now the Dr. has ordered an oxygen concentrator to wear at night. We're doing another oxygen level test in a few weeks, to see if the concentrator helps. I'm just wondering if this is a normal first step, because I see a lot of people on here use other things. I've also noticed that I'm waking up with horrible headeaches after sleeping with the oxygen, is that normal?

  • Egg Donation Age Limits and How Often?

I'm wondering what the absolute highest age is that you can donate your eggs? I am 34 (will be 35 in a month and a half). I don't plan on having anymore children of my own, and my husband is out of the country for at least another year and a half. Since there's no chance of getting pregnant again anytime soon, I would love to donate my eggs if I can find someplace to donate them too. I would appreciate actual contact info if you know of someplace or someone (website or email is fine). Also, does anyone know how often you can do this? I would love to help others' dreams of parenthood become a reality.

Ok, here's the deal. I have never done story-telling before, and I have never been on the "adult" side of vacation bible school. My assignment is story telling wiht the topic of "Jesus the Vine" from John chapter 15 vs 1-5 & 7-17, and memorizing 1st John 4:19. The children are mostly 6-8 year olds and I have about 30-35 minutes. I am completely loss as to what to do, so any and all suggestions are welcome. Thanks in advance.

  • Which is more accurate to measure body fat- my measurements (army method) or by a body fat analyzer?

My sister is getting a difference of 8% (37% army and 29% from a hand-held analyzer at the gym). We are just wondering why there is such a difference. Websites with more info are welcome. Thanks.

  • Need help identifying an insect?

I was recently in Honduras and was woken up by this insect crawling on the back of my leg. It was about 2 inches long and looked soft of like a giant ant. It was black and yellow striped (two yellow stripes and three black). The stripes were like bee stripes. It didn't have any wings. I felt it move, which is what woke me up, but when I moved it to look at it, it didn't move at all. I didn't see how many legs it had. It also felt hard, not fuzzy, when I picked it up. Any idea what it might have been?

  • How can you save money with internet phone service if you have to pay for home phone service to get internet?

I'm just curious because I see all the vonage/skype/magicjack commercials advertising how you can save money on your phone calls, but if you already have to pay for a landline to even get internet service what's the point? Cable isn't available in my area and satelite internet costs too much. Is there another type of internet service available that I don't know about that doesn't use a phone line for high-speed? Or are these services only beneficial for those who live in areas that have cable internet available? And to get cable internet, don't you have to have cable service? I'm just trying to find a way to save money without sacrificing services I use and without paying for services I don't (like cable tv). Also, which of the internet-based phone services offers the best international rates (Honduras)?

  • How can I tell when a piercing is completely healed?

I got a VCH and 2 outer labias done about a month ago. The VCH is doing great and seems to be completely healed. But I've heard conflicting stories on how long it takes for outer labias to heal. The piercer who did it said 4-6 months, I've seen online 6-8 months and another pro piercer who just changed the jewelry said about 2 months. I also had to switch from the circle barbels that were first put in to captive rings (cbr) because the circle barbells were getting hooked together when I walked and would pull. Is that going to affect healing times? I haven't had any obvious signs of infection (no redness or swelling, drainage, pus, bleeding or anything else). I'm also doing a antibacterial soap followed by sea salt soak twice a day for cleaning. Is there anything else I can do to help them heal faster? Personal experiences are welcome here, as well as pro piercers. NO DUMB OR RUDE COMMENTS PLEASE! Thanks.

  • Natural and effective mosquito repellent?

Are there any supplements that that work effectively as a mosquito repellent (either as the main use, or as a side effect), and that are safe for a 2 year old? We are going to Honduras soon to visit, and I am looking for the easiest and safest way to avoid the mosquitos while we are there. I also don't want to have to carry sprays or creams with us and have to keep reapplying them. Or are there any long-lasting repellants that you can just put on once a day?

  • Brazilian wax with piercings???

Ok, so I usually just shave or use Veet for sensitive skin, but I recently got some new piercings down there and not sure which is the best way to stay smooth. I've never had a brazilian wax (mostly because none of the towns I have lived in had anyplace that does them- small town live lol), but always wanted to. Would I be able to do that with my piercings? I have 2 outer labias and a vch. Or should I stick to the shaving or depilitory creams? I'm afraid with the razor, I won't be able to get all the hair around the labia piercings and that the cream might be too much for new piercings. Any ideas, suggestions or experiences that you can share? Nasty comments not welcome, please keep negative opinions to yourself, as this is a serious question. Thanks.

  • Going to Honduras mid-March, any suggestions?

Ok, so we (my daughter and I) are going to meet my mother-in-law and other family members in Macuelizo (my husband is already there), but I will also be spending a lot of time in San Pedro Sula. Just looking for suggestions as "must-haves" to take with us, as well as "must see" and "must do" things for in our spare time. We already know the language, so you don't need to tell us that. I also welcome any tips of things/places to avoid. Thanks.

  • vertical hood and outer labia piercing questions...?

Ok, first of all, I know I should have asked my piercer, but I didn't think about it at the time, and I am not looking for smart-a*# remarks. That being said, here's the first one. I just got a vertical hood and 2 outer labia piercings a few days ago, and they are doing great, but I also just got my period. So should I use pads or tampons? Next question, the labia have circle barbells, and with one on each side, they keep getting hooked together. Is this something I should worry about? It doesn't hurt, just tugs a little bit.
