So say a string str at index i

str[i]

is a number, like 8. How could I get this number to assign it to a variable? Something like

int x = str[i];

does not seem to work. What is a good way to do this?

We're supposed to be finding the inverse or something? Here's an example of the problem before it...

2cos (x) - 1 = 0

+1 +1

2cos (x) = 1

-------- --

2 2

cos x = 1/2

cos (x^-1) = 1/2

then we just plug into calc and it gives the answer but I can't figure out this next one :( HELP

So i have Camtasia Studio which I use to record my screen and webcam for Youtube videos. I recently played a game called SCP 087 B (its pretty much a survival horror game). And tried to record it for my channel. I closed all other programs except the game and the recorder and made the resolution smaller. However, when I record this game Camtasia drops tons of frames for some reason. After saving the recording, the video is REALLY laggy and I can't even see what is going on in the game. When I'm playing during the recording the game runs perfectly smooth with no problems. Also I can record other games with no frames dropped. Does anyone know what the problem is?

I've been having a really weird problem with my PS3 controller. Pretty much when I have it plugged in to the USB some of the buttons work like up down etc but others don't including the X and O buttons which are most important. When I have it unplugged even less buttons work. But what happens is, if I plug it in, press the X button, then unplug it, the X button will get pressed after I unplug it. It also works if it starts plugged in then I unplug it. I have no idea what is wrong with it or how to fix it. Please help! Also, when I have it plugged in the red light above the 1 is flashing but only the light above the 1 not all 4. PLEASE HELP :(

There is somehing wrong with my DS but it is kind of good for me... I was playing while charging and I accidently conected to Wi-Fi. Ever since (about a week ago) my DS has been green. (Like power green) And I have been playing it. Probably at least 10 hrs of the last week. Will it never go red again? Has this ever happened to you? Help?!
