3 AnswersCricket1 decade agoTrivia! Who are we?
Person A: I was born on 16th of August. Iam a left hander batsman and I have scored over 7000 runs in ODIs and Tests. My batting technique is not coaching manual stuff.
Person B: I was born on 21st of September. Iam a left hander too and Person A is one of my buddies. I have over 6000 ODI runs and over 4500 Test runs. Iam an agressive batsman.
Person C: Now that Person A and B have introduced themselves, identify Person A and B, and let me know what their unique records are. Well, the hint is that we both have a similar kind of record.
No prize for guessing whos Person C. lol. Its me! :)
5 AnswersCricket1 decade agoIsnt JPeeling a Don Bradman of this forum? Agree?
Iam amazed on the knowledge that this guy has who is supposed to be from England. He seems to have a good answer for almost anything on Cricket. The other thing I have noted is that he only answers those questions which he thinks he is very good at answering. His best answer rate is over 60%, and I think its like a Sir Don Bradman's test average which is tough to compete with. Do you agree?
JPeeling, you deserve this accolade, mate! Well done and keep going, and sometimes you make me jealous, lol :p. Just kidding

10 AnswersCricket1 decade agoWhat is knighthood?
I have been following this news that Sachin is being recommended by British PM for knighthood. Excuse my ignorance, but whats the speciality of knighthood? What does it mean or imply? And, based on some of the answers, I see that Indians and Aussies dont recognise it. Why is that? Why is the knighthood being ignored by few countries? Curious..
Good, detailed and clear answer will get 10 points!
11 AnswersCricket1 decade agoMiddle stump knocked out!! Food for thought?
Middle stump knocked out backwards is one of the greatest sights in the game of cricket for a bowler!
Muralitharan has the most number of bowled in tests with 157 scalps and followed by Warne with 116.
Both these legends are those who turn the ball a long long way. Do you consider it amusing and strange that bowlers who spin the ball a mile have so much bowled dismissals?
Do you think most of them would have been leave alone by batsman which would have spun right across them to rattle the stumps? I was of the impression for a long time that bowlers like McGrath who are consistent in that off stump line would have had more bowled dismissals.
So, Why do you think that this is the case? Whats your opinion?
7 AnswersCricket1 decade agoNewyear Resolution of George W Bush?
lol.. Not a bad idea to finish the new year on a smiling note..lol..For a change, this time around we can suggest a new year resolution for some other person rather than yourself. So, I have chosen George W Bush, president of USA.

2 AnswersPolls & Surveys1 decade agoJust curious. Has this ever happened to you?
Iam just curious. Plenty of times I see that some answerers copy/paste the same answer of yours, or even tell the same answer of yours, but still they do get selected as the best answer. How does the best answer get selected? How does it work?
For example,
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Atl4D...
In the above question the answerer who responded after me, copy/pasted the same answer of mine, but he got selected as the best answer.
Can someone enlighten me on how selecting the best answer works here in Yahoo! Answers? Just curious!
11 AnswersCricket1 decade agoBrian Lara - Biggest hype of ICL?
One of the legends, Brian Lara has really been not a good deal for ICL. He has been very ordinary in ICL matches so far. Do you think he was more intended in money that he almost forgot how he needs to bat? :)
Other former international cricketers have amassed runs. Whats wrong with Lara?

2 AnswersCameras1 decade agoIndia's chances against Aus seem to be relatively bright now?
Injury concerns for Australia now.....
Matthew Hayden is suffering a knee injury, which forced him out of a domestic match on Wednesday.
Fellow opener Phil Jaques has been laid low with the mumps
Michael Clarke missed a one-day domestic match Wednesday due to a hamstring complaint
Andrew Symonds has a foot problem
Most serious injury faces spin bowler Stuart MacGill who requires a knee surgery
So, does India have a better chance than Sri Lanka to upset the Aussies? I think so. What do you think??

7 AnswersCricket1 decade agoHas Ian Chappell made a mistake saying this?
In a preview interview of T20 WC Cricket, Ian Chappel said that India and Pakistan are the two likely teams to disappoint the most. They have reached the finals, instead.
Listen for his interview at http://content.cricinfo.com/talk/content...
Is this called the commentator's curse or is it just another bluffing? Haha!
