we want to filter a frequency (the noise in the signal). I found it to be f=2040Hz

Now I am obligated to use a built in filter (elliptic in my case) and this is what id did:

Y= filter(b,a,Y);

but when find the ifft of Y and play it using sound, i'm not getting anything that makes sense, the volume is too low and the only thing i can hear is the Noise frequency

SO can you please point out where's my error?And what am i missing?

i was wondering if he could build a galvanometer (tool to measure current) using a DC motor and a spiral spring

Since the current and force of a DC motor are proportional and the torque of a spiral spring is proportional to it's angle

thus at equilibrium the current in the DC motor would be proportional to the angle

and using a proper scale and reference voltage, we can make a simple ammeter.

seriously, i give up, i searched everywhere , and it always say that no load voltage is the voltage on the secondary output of the transformer when there is no load (open circuit)

so wth is the full load voltage

we did and experiment and measured the voltage in 2 cases:

1-we open circuited the secondary (115V on the primary)

2-we short circuit the primary (till we get 0,3A , which is the rated current)

We used a power meter and i managed to calculate all of the internal components of the transformer

but i got stuck when they asked to calculate the regulation voltage, i have no idea how my experiment is supposed to help me in this.

What if you punch somebody SO HARD that they turned into a door. Then you found out that’s where ALL doors on campus come from, and that girls going to my university get initiated into a murder club that it's sole purpose is to turn males into doors. i'm not asking why you don't believe in a religion and in it's god (cz as a theist, i can say that the majority of religions are ********), and i understand why you wouldn't believe in a religion after all the bad things that were made in the name of religion.

but i really can't get what is it that make you so sure that this universe came from nothing?,by nothing i don't mean the absence of energy alone, i mean NOTHING, like their wasn't even any laws (physics), no matter, no nothing, how do you justify the order in our universe?how do you justify the existence of the laws of physics?how do you justify the existence of A logic? (by order, i don't mean anything related to entropy).

so i started using hand grips, at the beginning i started by the ones you can find in stores (50-60 lb), then after i was able to do 60 successive reps, i bought a 150 lb hand gripper

at the beginning i was only able to do 3 reps, but now (after 3 weeks) i'm able to do 40 successive reps

so i was wondering if i can do the same thing with the 200+ ones, will i be able to build my grip strength progressively using the same method (low reps at the beginning, then slowly advance)?

there are people out there who raped 12 year old girls and then killed them in the worst way imaginable, there are serial killers who chopped their victims bodies and ate some of their body parts, there are people who tortured their victims with acid and chocked them to death, there are people who kill other people with no justifiable reason (stealing 20$, anger...)

Why shouldn't these people be killed?! isn't that justice to kill the killer?

ok , so i'm doing an essay on electric energy decentralization and i need to compare renewable energy with oil generated energy in terms of performance during natural disasters

and also in terms of price, and by price i mean i want to know if u rely on a renewable source of energy to generate your electricity locally , will u still pay the same amount of money as long as using electricity , or is it something u pay for like, 10 years (for the expenses) and then it's free energy?

ok , here is the situation , i was assigned a job and ... well , briefly i messed up :

the project has surpassed the budget , it is also behind schedule but the biggest problem is that my program won t work as expected... so i am really not sure what to do , should i tell my boss and risk to damage my career or should i just ignore the problem and see what will happen

what is the best ethical decision and why ? it s not like my mistake could hurt anyone , not physically at least...
