  • I got a false negative on my pain management urine test and now my doctor has stopped prescribing my tylenol with codeine.?

    I have been taking 2 tylenol with codeine (Tylenol 3) everyday for the last 4 years. My problem is that I have a new doctor and my first urine test has tested negative for codeine. I told the nurse that talked to me that I want a hair analysis test done to prove that I have been taking my meds. The nurse said, " I dont think he does that." So I dont think she passed along my request and now no one at my doctor's office will even return my call.

    What should I do? I am very upset about this

  • My 16 year daughter wants to drive above the speed limit while on her PA drivers permit?

    I understand that police wont pull you over for 5-7 mph over the speed limit ON THEIR RADAR READING... But they give that lee-way because of variances in speedomters... So you can drive at the speed limit and not have to worry about the difference between your speedometer and their radar gun.

    I have told my daughter that she only has her learners permit and it is a priviledge to have your permit and to drive my car. She will only drive with me when she stops being argumentative and insisting that she should be able to drive faster than the speed limit.

    I am bewildered at why she thinks I AM the one being unreasonable !!! So now she is refusing to do her chores because she is not being so allowed to drive.... I think she is digging herself in deeper and making me more angry with her. She thinks that I am being too strict ??? It is like war around here and I dont know why she is being so difficult to deal with when it is my car and my gas and my time.

    My question is this: Why is she being so difficult???

    I dont know why she is trying to convince me to let her drive faster than the speed limit when she only has a PA Drivers License PERMIT to learn how to drive.

    She just thinks that I am old fashioned and out of touch???

    I dont think I am....

    What makes her think it is ok to driver faster than the speed limit???
