  • Faith without works is dead?

Is it significant that the examples of works in James Chapter 2 were of those who are not under the law? Abraham did not have the law and Rahab was a pagan prostitute.

  • Why do atheists..?

strive so hard to prove their point of view? For the clarity of this query, if I were an atheist I would rightly understand that the condition of man has dictated that since the dawn of time man has contrived gods and religious beliefs that are tied into the fiber of society and culture and this will never change so I should just try to get along the best that I am able under the circumstances of reasonalbe observations and facts. It is a rational observation that man will always have gods and this will never change. Therefore, why strive against this reality? It seems to me that the atheists that try so hard to prove that they are correct are irrational because they are not willing to accept the condition of mankind and they also have this penchant to prove that they are more intellectual than the religious when this clearly is not the case. What gives?

  • Legalistic Christians - where do you draw the line...?

where God will forsake us? Is it...desiring that someone perish, trusting our own will and obedience above Christ, judging others for self justification and/or self assurance, standing in the Temple praising God that we are not like the heathen, thinking that we are something when we are really nothing, respecting one man over another, believing that we do not sin willfully, and the like? Or is it just the lust that we never seem to be able to shake, white lies, and sneaking a smoke behind the barn?

  • Why is the scriptural truth of eternal security...?

so hard to understand? Is it a faith problem or is it that people simply cannot understand that Jesus would never lie to us? Why do so many consider the Blood of Jesus common, insufficient, and temporary like the blood of bulls and goats?

  • Has anyone here studied the fact..?

that the theory of evolution is a racist manifesto whereby white Anglican England justified taking advantage of people of color worldwide by believing that the black African and others were one evolutionary step from the ape and the white man is the fully evolved man and therefore superior? This is true and despicable, isn't it?

  • Why do people still believe...?

that radiocarbon dating can date fossils in the million(s) years range?

    Secular source...

"Radiocarbon dating is a radiometric dating method that uses the naturally occurring isotope carbon-14 (14C) to determine the age of carbonaceous materials up to about 60,000 years."

Can we just stop the madness...please?

  • Is a question a "work"?

If a seeker's belief leads them to ask Jesus, "Do you love me?" or "Are you real?" or "Is there a place for me in your Kingdom?" or "Who are you?" , is this a work? Does the question save or does the answer save?

  • Does Romans 14 reveal...?

a spiritual truth that the weak in the faith judge the strong in the faith? Is this the same as Galatinas 4 revelation that the children of the bondwoman (those ofthe law) persecute the children of the freewoman?

Note - It should also be noted that the strong in the faith tend to look down on the weak in the faith. Rom 14

  • Is believing Calvin is correct?

akin to believing Adolph Hitler is correct? They both persecuted a religious group of people for their beliefs. Is Hitler on higher ground because his reasons were not religious?

  • is there any evidence that Calvin?

was converted before he died? He was a genocidal zealot like the Apostle Paul. We know from the Scripture that Paul was converted after persecuting the early church. Did Calvin ever show a contrite heart for his persecution of the Anabaptists? I cannot find any evidence of a Damascus Road coversion in his life. Does this mean that he will perish?

  • Why do atheists ask questions like....?

"Can an almighty God make a square that doesn't have any angles and has maximum area with least perimeter?" and then choose as the best answer "there is no god". Why not try to pick the answer that actually answers the question and is the most compelling or reasonable? If you ask one million hard questions about godviews and always choose "there is no god" as the best the then why not just ask over and over "is their a god? Don't you understand that you are losing your credibility as being intelligent and logical? What is the root source of your redundant behavior?

Note - answer any or all of these questions.
