I am 18 years old and at college and I have always experienced slight depression but I've recently hit rock bottom. A good friend suggested I try medication, the problem is I am on my parents health insurance and I do not want them to know. I think antidepressants would really help me but theres no way I can get them if my parents are aware. Is there anything I can do?

So we did a project in school and we had to pick one word, and i picked the word "done" as a joke, and my english teacher said i should have picked the word pertinacious. I don't understand what it means, and why she called me it? So what does it mean if someone describes you as pertinacious? Thanks!

I am 16 and a half and i have a Massachusetts drivers license, but under MA law i am on my JOL(Junior operators license) which means I cannot drive anyone under 18 without an adult in the car. I got my wisdom teeth out last wednesday and it has been 5 whole days of recovery. I have been taking it easy and I am off meds and slowly getting my normal diet back. Tonight i want to go to a hot yoga class ( my normal workout routine) its 105 degrees in there and an hour and a half. My question is will i be able to go to this class? I really want to go but don't want to cause bleeding or anything! thanks!

I was wondering is someone has their number on facebook if it is weird to text them? The person is another girl who works with me and weve known each other 2 years but this summer we became pretty decent friends she would hug me, kiss me always greet me in the mornings. Okay so 2 years ago i developed shin splints when i started playing field hockey full time. Once the season was over they went away but the next season came and they were even worse. Mid season i got a hard hit ball to the right shin and i went down. The ER said i bruised my tibia and i was on crutches 2 weeks. I got off and continued on with my other acitivites, a few months later it really hurt so i went to the doctor i had a stress fracture on my right tibia. I was in a cast for a month and it healed. High school field hockey started a few months after and the shin splints were worse than ever, the trainer would wrap them for me every day but i was still in pain. Lacrosse season came and the pain was still awful. What I want to know is it just shin splints or worse? I realize the only way to know for sure is to go to the Dr. but i cannot miss any field hockey so I have to wait until november. Thoughts/advice? Please help me? The pain is when im running mostly but during the seasons sometimes walking and jumping, all over my shins. Thank you any thoughts would be helpful!

So yesterday me and 2 of my friends met 3 guys at the beach and we all hung out all day. at the end of the day i was like i have to go we should all hang out again though and one guy said yeah ill give u my number. so a couple hours later i texted him just giving him my number but he didnt reply. I figured he had nothing to say to that because i just said "hey its olivia" so an hour ago i said me and my friends were gonna b at the beach again tomorrow and if the guys would want to meet us there and still no reply. i know it is the correct number because its on his fb. he has an iphone so the imessage just says delivered. So advice? why isn't he replying? also he is on vacation here. we all had a really good time so idk why he isn't replying

So this guy added me on fb a while ago, then he played me on draw something, and then i liked a picture of his on facebook and he liked my profile picture then messaged me, shortly after saying text me instead and giving me his number. I texted him and we talked for a while all through the night, then in the morning but it was taking him a while to reply sometimes a few hours. Then he texted me thursday at 12 at night and i replied at 8am yesterday and i haven't heard anything since. What do I do? He is the one who initiated things so i dont know why he is not replying?
