I dropped my straightener in the sink?!?

I was straightening my hair and i dropped the iron plate part in the sink that had water in it it made a fizzy sound i dont know what to do!!! i turned it off i dont know whether to un plug it or not but I NEED MY STRAIGHTENER! what do i do PLEASE help me!!! how do i fix it?!

    I think you should get a new one, in case you decide to do that I recommend you the Karmin G3 Salon Pro, it heats up to 460f with temperature control, dual voltage, tourmaline ceramic plates with rounded edges which makes it great for also curling your hair.     Unplug it and throw it away, its dead.

    You can fix it by rewiring the entire thing and changing all of the electronics.

    Its cheaper to get new ones.

    It is broken, Very broken, get it the hell out of the water! and unplug it. Bin it, or sell it
