Is Bruce Levenson really a "racist" for suggesting that the Atlanta Hawks could increase its revenue by attracting more whites to its games?
You can read his entire email here to other concerned parties here:

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17King James Version (KJV)
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
9 AnswersReligion & Spirituality7 years agoCan you explain how to solve this parametric equation using natural log as a variable?
*Look at the picture.
I have a fairly good grasp of the process with the exception of the natural log part. Please explain if you know how to do this.
Thanks!

This is a deliberately open-ended question. Thanks:)
1 AnswerReligion & Spirituality8 years agoIs it really illegal for men to urinate standing up in the European Union?
I know, it must sound like a ridiculous question to some Americans, but I first read about such proposals while reading a book about the Islamization of Europe. Having a keen interest in cultural issues (and having confirmed that such proposals REALLY DO exist), I'm curious as to what the outcome has been!
5 AnswersOther - Society & Culture8 years agoWhat does the Bible have to say about America (and Great Britain)?
OR. is the richest, most powerful nation in the world (and it's allies) curiously absent from the Bible's end times prophecies?

Part II: How did you figure that out?
6 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoDoes the Bible give us any indication of the timeline regarding the destruction of Damascus?
I know OF the prophecy, but have not yet read it in context. Naturally, I got curious about it when watching the news regarding the current tragedy in Syria.
Thanks.
4 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoWill "Obamacare" be the final nail in the coffin of the American Economy as we know it?
Most of us know (or should know) that the price of pretty much every consumer good or service the government touches (however well-intended) increases massively relative to income. Housing prices, higher education and (arguably) to a lesser extent-health care costs are prime examples. Now that Obamacare is basically a complete take-over of what is already the most expensive health insurance industry in the world, will the costs balloon so far out of control as to bankrupt the federal government or perhaps the taxpayers who fund it?
With 50% of Americans already on the federal dole, how much more expensive is healthcare likely to cost us now that the federal government mandates EVERYONE to buy certain services and make other services and products FREE for all who demand them? Yes, I'm referring to birth control and abortion services. The moral and ethical questions are for another post. This question is referring specifically to the fiscal question, my personal ethical and moral positions on the issue notwithstanding. Thanks:)
8 AnswersOther - Politics & Government9 years agoDarwinists: How strong is your "faith" that Darwin's theories will some day be proven?
"Why, if species have descended from other species by fine gradations, do we not everywhere see innumerable transitional forms? . . . Why do we not find them imbedded in countless numbers in the crust of the earth?"
-Charles Darwin
(The Origin of Species, 1859, Masterpieces of Science edition, 1958, pp. 136-137).
"The number of intermediate varieties, which have formerly existed, [must] be truly enormous. Why then is not every geological formation and every stratum full of such intermediate links? Geology assuredly does not reveal any such finely graduated organic chain; and this, perhaps, is the most obvious and serious objection which can be urged against the theory" (Darwin, pp. 260-261).
"The theories of evolution, with which our studious youth have been deceived, constitute actually a dogma that all the world continues to teach: but each, in his specialty, the zoologist or the botanist, ascertains that none of the explanations furnished is adequate." "The theory of evolution is impossible. At base, in spite of appearances, no one any longer believes in it . . . Evolution is a kind of dogma which the priests no longer believe, but which they maintain for their people."
-Paul Lemoine (1878-1940), director of the Paris Natural History Museum, president of the Geological Society of France and editor of Encyclopedie Francaise

Manasseh and Ephraim are Israel's (Jacob's) grandsons and Joseph's sons.
3 AnswersReligion & Spirituality10 years agoCHRISTIANS: How would you demonstrate-with reason-that the Bible is the one true word of God?
What I mean is, if someone basically asks you to "prove it." how would you? I'm specifically referring to someone who is genuinely seeking the truth (or is at least receptive) and NOT people only looking to scoff at your religion, God, the Bible or religion in general. How would you show them that Christ is the way as opposed to any other "god" or no god at all?
Please be as specific as you can.
Thanks.
11 AnswersReligion & Spirituality10 years agoEvolutionists: what convinced you that Darwin's theories are correct?
BQ: Have you ever done or intently reviewed any critical analysis of Darwin's theories?
Darwin's theories were based on observation in the 19th century and he had anticipated that fossils would be found to confirm what he surmised. Those fossils have never been found. Other aspects of his theory simply do not hold up to scientific scrutiny.
I'm curious to know what makes you accept Darwin's theories as fact when objective science says otherwise?

I'm guessing that we haven't "progressed" as much because our culture is more capitalistic where most European countries are more socialistic. What are your thoughts?
5 AnswersGender Studies1 decade agoHow will you teach your daughters to respond to chivalry?
This is directed to anyone, but feminists in particular (I'm curious). Will you teach them to respond politely as many boys are taught that it's only good manners to treat ladies with extra little gestures of polite respect or will you teach them to respond with scorn or disdain as it's a modern symbol of patriarchal oppression? Or will you teach them something else?
It's a serious question. Thanks:)
