I was wondering why Yahoo answers allows for so much hate from the Non-believers.

They are like a plaque on the religion board with one insult after another.

You find more nonbelievers looking on Christian threads then any other place.

...down our Christian throats? Every Christian post is inundated with non-believer hate and disagreement. One cannot even ask fellow Christians a question without having to siffen through the unbeliever garbage.

Check out my post about contradictions in the Bible. I put it up for a vote and the nonbelievers went hog wild on it voting for an answer that didn't even answer the question!

What gives? Why are the heathens cramming their faith down our throats?

I can't believe that people deny that when a man sexually abuses a boy that he is not called a homosexual pedophile. How hard is this to understand? The dictionary says that when two people of the same sex come together in a sexual act, it is homosexual. It never talks about age.

There are hedrosexual pedophiles and homosexual pedophiles. From my knowledge in the police department. The homosexual pedophiles only target boys, they never marry and have had other sexual relationships with adult men.

I don't understand why people argue that I am wrong. They tell me that these men are not homosexual, they are deviant.

Well, from where I sit all pedophiles are deviant whether they prefer the same sex or the opposite sex.

There was a post removed recently about contradictions in the Bible. I was able to answer a few of those so called "contradictions". Most of them were really poorly put together from some skeptic website. I completed a few of these so called "contradictions". If you so desire, add more "contradictions" that you know are not true contradictions and we will vote for the best one.

Here are mine:

Should we kill?

Ex. 20:13 Thou shalt not commit murder.

Ex. 32:27 Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, put every man his sword by his side...and slay every man his brother...companion..neighbor.... also 1 Sam. 6:19; 15:2,3; Num. 15:36)

****answer: Man should not murder, this is true, murder is about killing the innocent. But WAR is not murder.

Ex 20:5 "...for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God..." (see also Ex 34:14, Deut 4:24, Josh 24:19, and Nah 1:2)

Gal 5:19-20 "Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are...jealousy..." (See also 2 Cor 12:20)

*****answer: Jealousy from a sinful man’s point of view is much different than that from God’s. Our jealousy tends to created unrighteous anger, while God is jealous when His creation bows down and worships false Gods. God cannot sin, so His jealousy does not lead Him to sin as it does with us.

Should we tell lies?

Ex. 20:16 Thou shalt not bear false witness.(Prov. 12:22; Rev. 21:8)

1 Kings 22:23 The Lord hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets, and the Lord hath spoken evil concerning thee. (II Thess. 2:11; Josh. 2:4-6 with James 2:25)

****answer: We must remember, that our lying is always a sin as we can do no other, but with all things of God, He makes all things good. So even if that means that he had some lie, it was a lie that would bring about His Glory. In 2 Thess, it says that those who reject God will be given the false information to continue to reject God if they do not stop rejecting Him. These are the lies which God allows people to hear and believe if they continue to be so stiff-necked in their rejection of Him. Many here are like that.

Should we steal?

Ex. 20:15 Thou shalt not steal. (Lev. 19:13)

Ex. 3:22. And ye shall spoil the Egyptians. (Ex. 12:35-36; Luke 19:29-33)

***answer: No WE should not steal, but as for what God would do for his people so that they may survive…he allowed them to steal for their survival. What loving Father would neglect the needs of His children if that could be prevented?

Shall we keep the Sabbath?

Ex. 20:8 Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy. (Ex. 31:15; Num. 15:32,36)

Is. 1:13 The new moons and the Sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity. (John 5:16; Matt. 12:1-5)

****answer: Here is a great example of skeptics trying to hard. Ex 20 is speaking about keeping the Sabbath holy and yet Isaiah is talking about false worshippers that God does not want to see and then John and Matthew are talking about something totally different concerning Jesus.

Shall we make Graven images?

Ex. 20:4. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven...earth...water. (Lev. 26:1)

EX. 25:18 And thou shalt make two cherubims of gold, of beaten work shalt thou make them.

****answer: This is talking about worship. The two cherubims were not created for worship.

So, since it seems that there cannot be a sacrifice w/o a temple, and since the temple cannot be rebuilt due to the Muslims occupying the territory by which the old temple once stood. Then does wouldn't it be correct to say that since there are no sacrifices for the sins of the people that the Jews are doing nothing to save themselves from Hell?

If the Jewish Temple was destroyed, they why not rebuild it? Also, many sacrificed outside the temple, why is that stopped?

I have these questions:

When did the Jewish stop making sacrifices?

Why don't the Jewish people observe the law as they once did?

Are they still looking for the Messiah?

Are you as tired of poorly educated people that call themselves "Christians"? I am. I come to this site time and again to find Christians poorly witnessing their faith by making these aweful statements that are basically saying, "Choose or die!"

They use the logic flaw of applying to your fear in hopes to scare the literal "hell" out of you.

Did Jesus or any of the writers of the books in the Bible use fear to save the unbeliever? NO!!!!

There is no, "Choose or die!" speech in any place of the Bible what-so-ever.

The only thing that this type of talk does is drive a wedge further between the believer and the unbeliever! I will bet a thousand bucks (not literal) that if the typical non-believer actaully knew what the faith was all about, their disgust for the faith would lessen dramatically!!!!

Unfortunetly, their disgust for those who hold on to this bad theology of, "Choose or die!" will increase greatly as well. :o(
