I'm no longer in love with my husband, what should I do?
We have three beautiful children, he's a wonderful father and friend. Our sex life fizzled out after our son was born 2 years ago, we no longer go out together, nor does he want to change that. I'm a devout christian and so cannot get a divorce because of this. I'm completely stuck, he's done nothing bad, what should I do?
23 AnswersMarriage & Divorce1 decade agoDoes anyone have any carpet cleaning tips for a large house with 2 asthmatics ??
We recently moved to a big, draughty, victorian house, my eldest daughter and I are asthmatic and after two months of worsening symptoms are now looking to have the carpets cleaned with something other than my numatic george.
Does anyone have any tips that could help reduce our symptoms via the carpet cleaning. I am thinking of hiring a rug doctor machine. Would it be wiser to hire a specialist to come in? Only serious answers please - thank you to those who took the time to compile a helpful answer.

12 AnswersAllergies1 decade agoHas anyone ever used those 'eco' wash balls instead of washing powder? Do they work?
We are a family of 5 - 3 children (2 are under 18 months) - will these 'eco' balls really stand up to my kids clothes?
13 AnswersCleaning & Laundry1 decade agoNeed some guidance - is my marriage all that bad??
Currently pregnant with our 3rd child (2nd pregnancy in less than 2 years-if that's relevant), and feeling very despondent about my marriage. Our 2nd child was born a year ago - we'd talked about getting married before we were pregnant but he wasn't as keen as I was. However, as the pregnancy progressed he changed his views - we decided to marry once baby was born. Here's the thing - he never proposed- some might say that it's not a big deal - we were living together, had 2 children, etc, (I agree) problem is I really struggle with it. He knows how much I wanted and needed him to propose to me - there was ample opportunity, christmas, valentines day, my birthday even the birth of the baby - he knew how much it hurt - I cried many times. The problem now is I find I question my self worth 'does this man really love me like I love him' - I gave up a career that I studied at uni for 6 years for, moved county, etc to be a mother, wife and housewife.
21 AnswersMarriage & Divorce1 decade ago10 year old daughter home from hospital after having meningitis.?
She was taken ill with pneumoccocal meningitis over a week ago - fortunately I realised she was seriously ill and got her treated before septecaemia could develop. She has been given a week of IV antibiotics and is now being monitored at home. My question is how long do children take to recuperate after a serious illness like this, is there anything more I can do for her than just provide as much food, snacks, drinks, TV, games, books, etc.
Please don't answer me with lots of information about meningitis - I understand the condition - what I need advice on is convalescence.
Thankyou to all those who took time to consider their answers with tact and real thought.
13 AnswersInfectious Diseases1 decade agoMy midwife has diagnosed me with pubic symphysis dysfuction.?
This is my 3rd baby and I think I may have had this condition with my 2nd as the birth was 10 times more painful than my 1st. Are there any mums out there who have delivered with this, were any special measures taken e.g., were you faced with a section or forceps. No comedians please - if your 14 and think this is funny - do us all a favour and get a life.
Thanks to all the genuine mums out there - keep up the good work :-)
18 AnswersPregnancy1 decade agoIs there any way you can have listeria without any symptoms?
Currently 22 weeks pregnant and have been suckered in by the standard preggie scaremongery - I just need to know if my baby's at any risk. For 2 - 3 weeks in my first trimester I did eat pate , didn't fall ill, feel ill or experience anything except very mild morning sickness. Really hope you lot can help. Thanks everyone.

13 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs1 decade agoVisited my midwife today for the first time with this pregnancy. I'm 14 -15 by my dates, but I measured 20!
She then listened with a doppler and detected 2 heartbeats. She then checked 3 -4 times (still 2!!) I'm not as sick, or tired or headachy as I was with my other pregnancies. I haven't even put on much weight! Can it be twins? None on my side of the family but my Mother in law lost twins - so their on my husbands side. Any advice from twin Mums?
