OK so for like a year and a half windows vista can't find the Internet on my Desktop or my laptop go figure both have wifi cards and what not. This happened after i reinstalled them from the windows vista ultimate dvds . What's funny it I tried a live Ubuntu Cd and 10 seconds later I was online so I installed Ubuntu dual boot as much as I like it I would still like to figure out an app or some back door way to find the internet connection in windows it does not recognize any wifi connections i have tried a few wifi finder apps got it to ping them but not connect I installed windows 8 but it was to buggy being the developer preview and all even though it found the internet and all no problem help please

So I read this article about how Facebook stores your I.P. in 64 base code when they send an email to anyone you comment to, on, message, like, or post about in general. It is sent in every notification email of people you may have contacted. So I would like to know if its possible to mask or hide my I.P. address to keep facebook from sending my I.P. address out to the world whether it be in windows ubuntu or a 3 party program to mask my I.P. address or hide it. Either Way i am not to confident in Facebooks decision making abilities when it come to either privacy or security i am currently using Ubuntu

when downloading torrent files in America you are not technically downloading any copy righted material at least until you actually add whatever movie books programs music and such to the torrent file program but the torrent file itself isnt actually illegal right

my previous job has just sent me a check that i earned from back in september and as you can tell it is way past it's 120 day mark are they allowed to do this by law send you a voided check as a form of payment they just sent it 2 days ago and i stopped working there in Oct of last year or do they have to offer compensation for there mistake? it seems if they can get away with it then they could send everyone voided checks as there payment .how should i handle this?
