Does anyone have any fundraising ideas?
Hey am hoping to be going to climb Kilimanjaro in little over a month (7th September) but in order to be able to go i have to have raised £2,200 by Friday. Have already raised £1,200 since December, but am struggling to raise the last £1,000 and wondered if anyone had any ideas.
Have resigned myself to not going, but feel anything is worth a try.
Have already done car washing, bag packing, car boot sales, bar crawls, bake sales, going round neighbours, quizzes, competitions, street collecting, 40 sponsored fast and donations from friends and family
Many thanks

10 AnswersDiet & Fitness1 decade agoWhy do I always feel gross after I fall asleep during the day?
It doesn't happen very often as I'm usually too busy lol, but when I do fall asleep for an hour or so before I actually go to bed, I feel awful when I wake up; my mouth goes all fuzzy and my head feels really heavy...
Thanks.

3 AnswersOther - Holidays1 decade agoWhere can I buy cheap speakers?
I've got a Creative Zen Micro and want some speakers for my room that are fairly cheap - around £40 or less if possible. I want them to be fairly good quality too, as I've looked at reviews for the Traveldock and they're not very good. Any one got one of these and think they're good? Or can anyone recommend any other speakers that are compatible with the Zen Micro?
Thanks in advance :)
5 AnswersMusic & Music Players1 decade agoHow do I claim tax back?
I'm 17 and still in full-time education, and work part-time (20 hours/week) as a customer services assistant at a big company. However, they've been taxing me both National Insurance and Income Tax, which I didn't think they were supposed to do if I'm still studying full time at 6th form, which I am.
How do I go about claiming this back? I've spoken to several people and they've all said different things lol; some have said I need to speak to Personnel at work, and others have said to speak to the tax office and get a tax rebate form...any idea which I should do?
Thanks for your help.

18 AnswersCleaning & Laundry1 decade agoIs there any way to find flight information...?
...without looking on the airport's website? I'm expecting someone on a flight from Barcelona to Manchester, arriving at around 23:00-00:00 (not exactly sure what time) and it's not showing it on the flight information on Manchester's website. I've checked teletext, but apparently you can't find flight info on that anymore, any suggestions?

17 AnswersTrivia1 decade agoPlate boundaries?
I'm doing some research for an A Level Geography project, and was looking for the different types of plate boundaries. However, the ones I found have different names to the ones I learned at GCSE, and I can't find any decent diagrams of them. Can anyone help as to why the names have changed and as to where there are some good diagrams?
Thanks.
4 AnswersHomework Help1 decade agoMy cat keeps running away...?
She keeps going back to the house we used to live in (just down the road) even though she's been living her for nearly a year now and she's never done it before. She's now done it a couple of times, for a few days, and each time I've had to go and retrieve her; she won't come back on her own. My mum refuses to have a litter tray so I can't keep her inside, so how do I stop her running away?

Hi, I was just wondering when we get our July ema bonus? Will it be whilst we're still at college, or during the summer holidays? Thanks for your help.
4 AnswersFinancial Aid1 decade agoI'm really worried about my cat?
She keeps throwing up; I thought nothing of it until this morning, but she meowed like she was in pain before she threw up, and she's never been sick this much before. Also, I just noticed this morning that her ears have got less fur on them than they did before, and she came in this morning with a little sore on her side, as if she'd been attacked by something, although it wasn't serious. However, she hasn't been out since yesterday afternoon; it is possible that I just didn't notice it, but I'm not sure. She is getting old - she's 11 now - but it's happened all of a sudden and she's always been healthy before.
Any help will be gratefully received
Thanks, Soph.

5 AnswersOther - Computers1 decade agoWind Power - Yes or no?
There is currently a propostition to build a wind farm in my area, and there has been a lot of opposition to this. Me and my friends have been campaigning for the farms, but there are very few who are doing the same.
Just wanted to see what the overall consensus was really, and how each side can justify their argument.

...and are studying the Catilinarian Conspiracy, Roman History 81-44BC and the Growth and Government of the Roman Empire 130-33BC? If so, any tips on how to consolidate information and answer exam questions? I'm doing a distance learning course with ICS, as well as 4 other AS levels, and I'm struggling, so any info will be greatly received.
Thanks a lot xXx
1 AnswerHomework Help1 decade agoHas anyone ever been to the Algarve? Namely Villamoura and Carvoeiro?
If so, please can you tell me which you would recommend; the good and bad points, such as price, the actual resort etc. There's a group of 14 of us going next year, and we're deciding between 2 villas, one in Villamoura, and one in Carvoeiro, so any extra information on the two resorts would be great.
Thanks a lot :-)
2 AnswersOther - Destinations1 decade agoWhat is the best skincare routine for me?
I have quite a few spots, particularly on my cheeks and chin; I've always had fairly bad skin, but it's been a lot better during the last couple of years. Recently it's got worse than it ever has been before, and I'm reluctant to go to the doctor about it until I've tried everything I possibly can.
I try not to change my routine too often, always cleanse, tone and moisturise, and have tried products for oily, normal and sensitive skin throughout the last yeas, and none of them seem to work. Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions.
Thanks :-)
