Also if the object is then slowed down does it keep this new mass?

My understanding of black holes are that once you pass the even horizon time has basically stopped. If that is true then how is it that many black holes spin so fast?

I went golfing and hit a ball off the course. Didnt see where it went but the next thing I knew someone pulled up and said it hit there car. He has presented the golf course with a $1700 bill and the golf course has said its not that problem and handed it over to me.

1)Am I liable or is the golf course liable?

2) I never saw my ball hit his car and he also has no idea who hit it. I don't see how he can prove it was my ball.

BUt still think the golf course is negligent in not having a net to prevent that from happening.

The tank that holds the water from the dehumidifier is cracked. The whole drain plug is cracked. I checked on getting a new plastic tank but they want $42, which I think is absurd for a cheap plastic tank., Any suggestions? I tried gorrila glue but it was not strong enough. It seemed to hold the water back but when I fiddled with it the whole thing cracked again.
