  • What's more important, job or location?

I just graduated from college with degrees in marketing and advertising, so its time to find a job. I currently live in Michigan and hate it, the winters suck. I used to live in Las Vegas and really want to move back. Obviously finding a job locally will be smarter financially, moving to Vegas without a job lined up would be more of a risk. Any advice??

  • Can my parents claim me as a dependant?

I'm 28 and have been living with parents for the past year, I'm a full time college student, pay for my own college, my car and my bills. I've been working but getting paid cash "under the table" so to speak. Can my parents claim me? Would this affect my independant status on my FAFSA?

  • Ebay/Paypal Dispute?

So I recently sold a guitar effects pedal on Ebay. For some reason the buyer assumed it came with a power adapter, I did not mention anything about an adapter in the ad. Now he's threatening to file a Paypal dispute for the cost of an adapter. Advice?

  • Ladies: Guy wearing women's jeans?

Okay I'm going to a 70's/disco party monday night and I'm having a VERY hard time finding a pair of old-school mens bell bottoms. I've checked a couple of "vintage" clothing stores and they want like $150-200 for a pair, no way. I've already checked the local goodwill stores and costume stores and I don't have time to have anything shipped in. So, I just had the bright idea of going to the Gap (or somewhere similar) and buying a pair of women's bell-bottoms. Do you ladies think this would work? I'm not a real huge guy or anything, I'm about 155 lbs. and have a 32" waist. Opinions!?

I was thinking something like these:

  • Why do people have so many kids?

Some countries are so over-populated that they have to actually limit the number of children families can have (China) and several cities in the US are now becoming over-populated (LA, NY). We all know about the impending energy crisis as we continue to suck up the earth's natural resources (oil), there are even regions out west (Las Vegas) that are running out of drinkable water PLUS foster homes are still full of parent-less children. So why the heck are people still giving birth to families of 4 or more children? Do they have any legitimate reasons besides selfish desires?

  • Ladies: How should I approach this girl?

I met a girl at school (college) the other day, she works in the admissions office and helped me schedule some classes. We only talked for a little bit but she was very engaging, made a lot of eye contact, smiled a lot and even let her hair down while we talked (isn't that a sign or something).......anyway I felt like there was a connection. So how should I approach her? All I know about her is that she works in the admissions office and I really don't want to make a scene by asking her out in front of anybody, plus I'm sure she's busy. Any advice?

  • Should I fight this speeding ticket?

I got pulled over yesterday for going 55mph in a 55mph zone. The cop claimed that the speed limit was temporarily lowered to 25 mph becuase some loose stone had been layed out on the road, the loose stone must have been layed a couple of weeks ago cause it was so compacted it was hardly noticable. Plus from the route I was taking there were NO signs stating the new 25mph zone. Should I fight this?

  • Christians: Is oral sex before marriage a sin?

Just wondering. It seems like an obvious answer to me but I've been with a few "christian" girls who absolutely refused to have sexual intercourse BUT were okay with performing oral sex.

  • Need help with sleeping patterns!?

I usually get up at 8:00am for work but the last couple of weeks I keep waking up at like 6:45-7:00, so I usually just go back to sleep for another hour. Lately I've been feeling tired and sluggish and I'm wondering if it's from my sleeping patterns. Would I be better off just getting up when this happens or is it better to go back to sleep and get an extra hour of rest? Thanks!

  • Why don't Americans like soccer?

I'm American and I watch soccer (EPL, La Liga, Serie A ,a little MLS), I've only become a fan recently however. I don't know anybody else that follows soccer and most of my friends think soccer is "gay" or "boring". I don't think it's boring and I enjoy it about as much as I enjoy American sports (baseball, football, basketball). So why don't Americans like soccer? Will it ever become popular here?

  • What has your pet done for you lately?

I have two great cats (yeah thats right, I'm a man and I like cats) and last week I found a bat in my bedroom, don't ask me how it got there but it was pissed and flying around all crazy-like. So I decided to take one of my cats (very good at catching animals) and stick it in the room with the bat. About 10 minutes later I open the door and my cat comes out from behind the bed with the dead bat in her mouth and drops it by my feet, looks up at me and meows. My cat rules!

Anyways anybody have some cool pet stories they'd like to share?

  • What do Christians think about fake boobs?

Seriously, I went out on a date the other night with a Christian girl. She claimed to be very religious, goes to church several times a week, said god has a plan for her and everything. Apparantly though she was not happy with the breast's that her good lord had blessed her with, and got a boob job. I thought it was odd, sure I've met lots of girls with fake boobs but I've never met a "straight-laced" conservative christian girl with fake boobs. So what are your (christians) thoughts on fake boobs?

  • Should I take this job or finish school?

I'm currently going to school full time and working part time ($11 an hour), I'm on pace to finish in about a year and a half. I was recently offered a job as an armed security guard (from a family friend), he said they'd start me off at around $40,000 a year. The problem is it's full time and they work crazy 12 hour shifts, so if I tried to stay in school it will probably take me longer to finish since I'll be taking fewer classes...........thats if I can even schedule classes around this job.

Any advice? Should I take this job cause it's good money or should I stay on track and finish school?
