My son sleeps so good during the day and he even sleeps for almost 3 hrs at a time during the day, but when night comes, he is awake, looking around, crying here and there, and very very alert. How can I get him to stay awake during the day so that he can sleep better all night? keeping them awake or waking them up is easier said than done! Help.

I have a 4 week old baby that possibly has "colic". I am getting mixed answers (from research) on specifically what colic is. The most common answer of what colic is: is that it is inconsolable crying for lengths of time that usually is worse in evenings and at night. The baby has been cramping up after each feeding and he starts screaming to top of lungs at times. We changed formula in hopes that would be fix, but the formula change caused less "pain" but it caused restlessness and it seemed as if he isn't getting enough to eat. Does changing formula even help "cure" colic? This is a crazy medical mystery. I wish it was something that I could do. HELP!!!!!!!

I have a 4 week old son who at around 2.5 weeks, started screaming at night and seemed to be in abdominal pain with clenched fists, red in face, and what appears to be straining and no bowel movement for 24-48 hrs at a time. We went to dr and has changed formula twice now. He is on the Similac Ailemntum but i don't see a change from the Enfamil. He sleeps longer and way better during daytime. I have tried swing, bouncer, gas drops, walking around to soothe and nothing helps when he is in pain at night. Also, he stays awake for like 4-5 hrs at a time at night and cries for at least 2 of those hours. Drs can't technically pinpoint what "colic" is and a specific cure. ? Any advice out there? HELP!!!!

My son dropped a full bottle of my husband's cologne. The smell is horrendous on that entire side of the house! I need help controlling the strong odors. The smell is also all, over my hand. How can I get rid of that too?

I noticed it this morning and gave it a little squeeze and puss came out of it and some blood. It still seems like it hurts.

His peditrician says it is fine. He is still learning to focus. I took him for a second opinion to an optometrist and she saw what I was talking about and scanned him for an eye tumor, which wasn't the case. She also suggested wearing a patch on the good eye two hours a day to make the other eye function more. Has anyone experienced this? I am so worried. Will he have to have surgery to correct this?
