i ask this because one of my friend online wants to battle me and he has told me he hacks pokemon and said he wouldnt fight me with hacked pokemon but i dont trust him will the wifi detect the use of hacked pokemon?

1. Is it safe? Ive heard it can destroy a wii, ive heard it is safe

2. Is it legal? Ive heard both legal and illegal

3. If i download wii menu 4.2 before i download homebrew will my wii will get bricked vice versa

4. I heard that it voids warranty on a wii

If all is good i might download it

Today my parents bought a new tv (the brand is vizio dont know if thats important or not) i was playig smash bros brawl earlier on our old tv it was working perfectly fine, but when i plugged everything from the wii into the tv it was very laggy. when i did anything with my controllers or wiimotes it reacted pretty late buttons and everything. Is there a way to sink it up to the new tv or does anyone know what the problem is?
