9 AnswersReligion & Spirituality6 years agoHave you ever seen a baseball player get hit in the face by a foul ball off his own bat?
I've watched a lot of baseball and I've never seen this happen. Have you? Is it even possible?
4 AnswersBaseball6 years agoI once heard that Walter Jones went an entire season w/o being knocked down in a game. Is that even possible?
I couldn't find anything when I searched for it. He was an amazing player but that seems far-fetched. Is there even a stat for that?
1 AnswerFootball (American)7 years agoHow dangerous are wolves?
Are wolves a big danger to humans who are hiking in the wilderness? Will they attack you if you are not paying attention, or are they generally afraid of people and will flee at the sight of humans?

2 AnswersBaseball8 years agoWhich Major League Baseball records do you think are unbreakable?
There are two that I can think of: Cy Young's 511 wins and Cal Ripken's 2,632 consecutive games played. What do you think? Are there any MLB records that you think will never be beaten?

9 AnswersFootball (American)8 years agoWhat are your favorite political movies?
I'm not asking about documentaries. I would like to know what are your favorite fictional political movies (Dr. Strangelove, for example), biopics of politicians (Lincoln, etc.), or movies inspired by historical events (like All the President's Men).
14 AnswersPolitics8 years agoHow long does it take Yahoo to respond when you appeal a deletion of one of your answers?
It's been more than a week since I appealed and I haven't gotten any response. I appealed right away, just a few minutes after the 2 answers were taken down and I got the emails notifying me of the deletions. How long does it usually take for Yahoo to review the answers?

8 AnswersMovies8 years agoWhat are FEMA camps? Do they exist or are people making them up?
I sometimes see people mention FEMA camps, but I don't know what they are. Do they really exist, or is it just a joke to the people who mention them? I see some people say the government is going to send certain people to FEMA camps, but I don't understand what they are talking about. I looked it up on Wikipedia, but they said the page does not exist. I would appreciate your help of explaining the best you can.
7 AnswersPolitics8 years agoIs there a rule in the NFL against too much crowd noise?
A friend of mine told me there is an obscure rule in the NFL that says a crowd cannot be too loud or they could get a penalty called on them. Is this true or was he pulling my leg? Also, if it's true, then why isn't it ever enforced?
13 AnswersFootball (American)8 years agoWhat is your opinion of term limits?
Do you think there should be term limits for politicians, or should they be able to stay in office until the voting public chooses to remove him/her? Should some offices have them while others do not? What are the pros and cons of term limits?
Note: I am not referring to any politician specifically. I'm asking about your general opinion of term limits as a political concept.
2 AnswersPolitics8 years agoConservatives, do you think Obama is evil or just misguided?
I get the feeling that many people think Obama secretly hates America and is seriously trying to destroy it the best he can. Even if you don't like Obama, and don't agree with his policies, can you at least concede that his actions are based on what he thinks is best for the country, even if he might turn out to be wrong?
Be reasonable. I was not a fan of George W. Bush, but I never doubted that his decisions were based on what he thought would best serve America and its people. I just thought he often made bad decisions based on the fact that my world view was different than his. Can you relate?
8 AnswersPolitics8 years agoHow can we prevent these mass shootings? If gun control is not the answer, then what is?
Like so many other Americans, I just want these shootings to stop. If you don't think gun control laws are the way to make that happen, that's fine. But what should we otherwise do to prevent people in our schools and public places from becoming victimized by deranged individuals?
Honestly, I don't know if gun control laws would work to stop these mass killings or not, but it seems like a more plausible answer than arming our teachers and theater ushers, just in case.
It has been a very sad day, and this is a serious question. I'm not trying to troll anyone.
36 AnswersPolitics8 years agoCan people in hell get visits from people in heaven who want to see them?
I think if people in heaven cannot sometimes go visit people in hell then it is unfair to the people in heaven, and it is inhumane to the people in hell.
Sometimes husbands and wives, or other family members would be split up between heaven and hell. These people should be able to see each other once in a while because they love each other. Even people in prison, as long as they are on good behavior, get to have visitors. Otherwise, it would be cruel and unusual punishment.
If people can show enough compassion to allow visitation rights, then I think God should allow them too. What do you think?
