  • Refridgerator won't work after moving?

We moved out fridge upright and only tilted it when moving up the stairs. Now it won't work-even the light won't work. It has been 24 hours since we have moved it. The fridge is realitively new-two years old. Any ideas?

    Thanks for all answers

  • Ladies, why is there such animosity towards an ex's new love?

My boyfriend and I have been together for two years and until recently I have not been the subject of his ex's severe hatred towards my boyfriend. They have been divorced for three and a half years-mutual decision (but more so hers). There is no contact, I haven't said anything negative about her in front of their sons, haven't done ANYTHING. Now she is voicing her opinion of me to their sons and using the court system any way shape or form to get back at my boyfriend. I am divorced and never even thought for a second about acting the way she is.

So, why go after someone who is not causing or creating any drama in your life?

  • Property Settlements in Louisiana..when is enough , enough?

Ex has not signed property agreement - divorse has been over two years ago. Now his request is for more of my 401K, plus interest it has earned since the divorce. I am now requesting the same from him (I know, tit for tat.) At what point will a judge say enough, this is the propery settlement as so ordered? Can he actually get more of my 401k...after we have been divorced? (mine is substantially higher than his). If I were to remarry, can that be used against me in the fashion of my net worth increased so she deserves more?

  • Stepson now of legal age to drive...who is responsible for his insurance?

My stepson lives with his mother and has now received his drivers license. She has decided not to pay for/obatain his insurance (but he is currently driving her car everyday.) She's wanting his father to pay for all. Who is liable and what is reasonable? My husband has agreed to pay for half. Her reason for not paying is that she is supplying the car. However, their oldest son was not allowed to drive until he had his own car-and at the time they were married and paying for his insurance. Please take into consideration she did not have custody of him for nine months, but yet still accepted the child support payments (totalling thousands). We live an hour away and have stepson every other weekend. She also agreed to pay for a gas allowance (but we found out that wasn' t the truth). The insurance will be to cover stepson in her car. I thought if an underage driver lives in your home, insurance cos. require you to maintain insurance on said person. There is no reasoning w/her.

  • PCOS? How were you diagnosed?

I have read that an ob/gyn really can not diagnose PCOS, that normally a fertility specialist performs several tests. I have had in the past ultrasounds,by a FACOG licensed Dr during my yearly visits and PCOS was never brought up. I moved to another city and on the first visit, the dr (who is very well respected and actually delivered my sister 28 years ago) immediately diagnosed due to excessive hair. I then took a sugar test and my results were two points higher than the average. After reading more literature about how a fertility specialist actually would diagnose PCOS, I am beginning to wonder about possible misdiagnosis. Not to mention, women in my family have excessive hair (no, not like the wolfman! lol ) Again, I have relocated to another city, so an appt with another dr is on the books. Thanks to everyone who answers!
